I've always been a huge New Order fan (and Joy Division for that matter), but never been a really big fan of New Order songs which are remixed.
However, this is a real exception.
On the same note I've never been a big Farley/Heller/Fire Island fan.
Their remixes to me are always a bit dull and a tad monotonous.
However, again this is a real exception. The remix is so good it's more like a Frankie Knuckles remix.
Quite simply, it's pure heaven, it really compliments Barney's unique vocals and the piano is just lush (very Frankie Knuckles-esque!!).
It gives the whole track a really beautiful feel.
Absolutely top drawer this one!!
New Order - Regret
(Fire Island Mix)

Fire Island in melodic form here. I usually preferred the deeper stuff they put out both in production & remix work. However this was a nice remix of a great pop track.
Aside from the seminal remixes for "Blue Monday" and "Bizarre Love Triangle" I've generally preferred the original versions with New Order songs. Republic in particular is an album where I thought New Order got it right the first time around, and the remixes generally didn't add any interesting new angles.
This remix for "Regret" is probably the lone exception. It's well done because it works with the song, rather than against it (sort of like what Oakenfold's Perfecto Mix did with "World (The Price of Love)").
Related to New Order, a suggested song to try out is Ashley Beedle's East Village Vocal remix of "Selfish" by The Other Two (Gillian Gilbert and Stephen Morris' side project). This is a great remix, done up in a classic piano house style that greatly improves upon what was otherwise a relatively bland song.
