Masters of their trade!

When two trance guru's co-lab you know you are going to get something special.

Ferry Corsten and TiĆ«sto working together under their Gouryella alias creating some of the standout tracks of that great trance era in the early 2000s.

This was a true classic which still sounds great 25 years on.

A monster of a track.

Bring out the sun!

You put Chicane and Ferry together and you are bound to get something a little tasty and this is just that.

A superb piece of melodic trance which just builds, fizzes and touches all the parts you need it to.

It wasn't as big as it should have been this one, as it is a real corker.

Possibly because it's very subtle and understated, as opposed to in your face and on it.

Delightful!

Trance anthem in the house!

Can't quite believe that I've not posted this before now (apologies!).

One of the true all time trance classics.

Veracocha was of course an alias of the great trance legends Ferry Corsten and Vincent De Moor.

A massive Oakey track on many of his sets around this era - 1999.

Still sounds great to this very day and probably always will.

This was when trance was at it's peak.

Good old days!

Why Go? Well you've just gotta!

You've got to hand it to the Boy (George), he's had one hell of a career.

Pop Star, Club DJ and maker of some many fabulous tracks and remixes.

Talk about staying power.

This is pretty epic as you'd imagine from the combination.

Just a sensational track from 1999.

The greatest trance track of all time? Quite possibly!!

Now I don't make that statement likely as I've always been a huge fan of trance.
Most notably the type Oakey was playing in the late 90's and not the commercial crap.
This track has it all, a huge build, unbelievable breakdowns, the drum roll builds.
Totally immense.
(Tiesto and Corsten on the mix - Respect!)
If there's a better trance track let me know and I'll probably tell you that you're wrong!!
I know I've posted this before, but I couldn't resist a re-post.
Enjoy, they don't come any better.

Bring out the Violins!!

Now you'll all be familiar with Ferry Corsten's alter ego - System F and the massively popular "Out Of The Blue" which was one of the big trance tunes of the late 90's.
However, you may be less familiar with this remix, which IMHO is exquisite.
I've always been a sucker for tracks that slow down in the middle and those tracks are always superb on the dance floor; "Bells of New York" and "Carte Blanche" are just two that spring to mind (both already posted on the PCC blog).
This is equally impressive, in that it is fast paced pumping trance, which then breakdowns to some amazing Violin strings and piano, which just blows your mind.
I believe that Tiesto was behind the remix. Nice work fella, very impressive indeed.
I just those those strings!!
A big shout out to Simon for this track suggestion. Top work fella.
Enjoy people!!!

Another slamming tune hammered by the Maestro!!

Here's a true, true club classic.
Brings back some great memories of Cream and Oakey absolutely rockin' the floor.
Simply a massive tune with great feeling and pumping beats.
A proper trance anthem.
