Possibly BT's finest hour (or 13 minutes)?

It was certainly a monumental track and one which showcased all his musical talents.

Full of glorious layers of piano and also some exquisite guitar strings, in conjunction with Tori's ethereal vocals.

It's quite a journey at 13 mins, but always keep you fully immersed in the track and what's coming next.

One I never heard on the dancefloor, but I suspect it would have had a great impact.

Most certainly a great example  of progressive house and one that still sounds amazing some 30 years on.

I've also added a PVD remix which is very solid and although less musical and creative, it certainly bangs.

One of the greatest trance classics of all time.

Still sounding amazing after 26 years on.

There are loads of different remixes of this and the Original takes some beating.

That said I think this version which actually came out 6 years later is probably my fave.

PVD just creates something which makes the oriuginal even better (and much longer - which is a huge bonus).

Just an epic, epic trance classic.

I think the reason I've not posted it before now, is that I wanted to check through all the remixes to try and determine which is the best, and here you have it.

Surprised I've not posted this one before, must have been an oversight on my part.

It's just such a fantastic track from 1999.

Trance as we know and love it which was just PVD's bag and the amazing Saint Etienne vocals from the ethereal Sarah Cracknell.

A match made in music heaven.

Love it when it really kicks off and increases in intensity and tempo.

Shiva, Shiva!

Another amazing track from The Visions of Shiva a combination of Paul Van Dyk and Cosmic Baby, hence you'd expect it to be good.

Not quite as electric as "Perfect Day", but pretty epic all the same.

A really great track with so much variety and feel in it.

Probably a bit less dancefloor friendly (than the "Physical" remix), but better IMHO.

Get on it!

 Not heard this for a while and then heard it at Cream Classical recently and just remembered what a fantastic track it is.

Up there with some of the all time trance classics.

The breakdowns in this and the piano chords are absolutely top notch - spine tingly good!!
