Nick Bracegirdle's Disco Citizen's work was another level and so much better than his more commercial front as Chicane.

This is another great track and although not quite as good as some of his best Disco Citizens tracks previously posted it is still pretty tasty all the same.

I've not posted too much trance recently, but it it a genre of dance music I've always loved.

Those later 90's tracks were just amazing and though the scene IMHO was pretty much dead after 2000, the tracks of that time were many and epic.

This is one such track.

Pounding, vibing, ups, downs, builds and explosions.

A top trance track.

I love Simon O'Shine's work it combines trance and dream music and is just so emotionally touching.

This track is a true masterpiece and almost classical.

It has amazing breakdowns, build up, mood and tempo changes.

A really stunning piece of aural pleasure.

Timeless and just so pure.

Respect to one of the GOATS!

Great to see Oakey still at it.

This is new and is pretty spanking.

Fast paced, energetic and enough to send you into orbit.

Oakey has always been at the cutting edge of new dance music and I sometimes feel he is less acknowledged than people like Sasha (who has a God-like status) which I feel is much more appropriate to Oakey.

Oakey was there at the very beginning and was largely responsible for the Acid House boom which created club culture as we knew to love it.

Respect - he will always be recognised as a one of the true GOATs in my mind!

Boyzone on the PCC blog, I'd of never dreamt of that.

Stay with it though folks, as they are only here courtesy of yet another barnstorming remix from the genius of TE.

The consistency and amazingly high standard of all TE remixes is quite remarkable.

This is good as it contains very little Boyzone and is mainly TE just rockin' the gaff with another thunderous production.

It hits all the key spots with lots of driving energy, tempo changes and a great overall vibe.

When done well trance is always such a great genre.

This would still down well in any club.

Let's just stay on the A&B theme as this is another truly delightful track.

Gorgeous vocals by Gemma Hayes and an equally superb remix by Yotto.

This track just has such a delightful vibe, one of those with just swathes and swaddles you with warmth through subtle grooves.

It's not often you get a really great male vocal in trance tracks, but hats off to Richard Bedford, his great vocals really enhance a superb track.

The A&B production is just superb as per usual.

They were really masters of their craft.

This was a major part of many of Oakey's great sets in 1994.

Just a thumping, pumping, spanking piece of trance music.

A bonafide classic which still sounds amazing 30 years on and would still rock any club floor.

The Red Jerry remix is also corking (as always from him).

Two pioneers, plus one!

After all these years of posting club classics I'm quite surprised that this is the first Jean-Michel Jarre track I've posted on the PCC blog.

This one is a coloration of two of electronic music's great pioneers in JMJ and Tangerine Dream, then bring in one of Trance music's finest remixers in Above & Beyond and you have a masterpiece.

This track is just off the scale with variety, dips, peaks, tempo changes and all the bleeps and blips you could which for.

A really unique and amazing track.

I bet this could sound amazing when dropped at the right time in a club.

It has everything pounding beats, a thumping rhythm, yet such a beautiful breakdown and then when the tempo picks back up it just grows and grows.

Homage to Push!

An absolute blatant rip off of the amazing trance classic Push - Universal Dream.

However, it is nicely done and brings a certain charm in it's own right, and it is certainly a PCC.

However, it should have been classified as a remix of the Push track and paid homage and respect to that.

That said dance music is in itself full of pillaging and ripping other artists material.

Just enjoy the music is my take!

Totally love this track, high quality trance at it's best.

This has so much energy and so many different gears, it's relentless, but always pulsating and throbbing.

A really fine piece of top class trance, with some delightful breakdowns.

It really is a fanastic track so so much variety, twist and turns.

Definitely one which should have been bigger and right up there with some of the finest trance tracks.

Timeless classic that would rock any dancefloor.

Al I want to do is, do it!

A corking trance track which was a huge Oakey track back int' day and later became immortalised from the hilarious but very credible Kevin & Perry film.

It's hard not to listen to it now without thinking "all I want to do is do it".

That shouldn't however detract from the epic nature of this track and is just a piece of trance brilliance.

It has one of the all time great piano breakdowns, which always sounds amazing!

Sit, back, relax and enjoy or even better get up and dance!

Y-Traxx Mystery Land

One of the best!

One of the truly great tracks of it's time courtesy of the legendary Pete Namlook and still sounding amazing today.

This was right at the forefront of the progressive house scene way back in 1993 and could also be classed as one of the very first and finest trance tracks.

The track was produced by the genius of 

The Northern Mix is a little slower in tempo than the Southern Mix and is my favourite of the two.

However, it was the Southern Mix which really brought this track to prominence as it was a key part of Oakey's trailblazing Goa Mix.

In fairness both remixes are amazing, pounding, banging, throbbing and with that catchy little whistling hookline.

In one work - immense!

It was of course much copied and sampled most notably by Kaycee - Escape later in the 90's but it was never a patch on the original.

There was also a decent remix by Signum which I've included.

Another awesome piece of trance from the genius that is Laurent Veronnéz.

I've previously posted the other side of this track, the spellbinding "Higher" and this is another superb piece of progressive trance, with some gorgeous piano breakdowns.

Superbly produced and with such a great aura about the track.

How trance music was at it's best in the late 90's.

Yes you and you!

Slammin' piece of hard trance of a very well known pop track.

This has a real vibe and edge to it.

Pounding and driving, but with some beautiful subtle piano drops.

It all comes together very nicely and has a superb aura about it.

A very effective re-working, done well.

A truly stunning trance classic from 2000 which is probably closer to progressive house than trance.

Laurent Véronnez produced some amazing tracks more often under his Airwave guise.

This has everything, energy drive, builds and some great chilled piano chords.

Just an epic of dance music.

A trance classic from 1999 which banged and fizzed, but probably never quite got the love of less worthy tracks.

This has it all the energy, the build ups, the breaks and is a really great track.

Maybe the lack of vocals and any piano peak sections reduced it's popularity.

Will always be a banger for me.

Let god turn it around for you!

Another piece of mind bending trance from one of the trance greats.

I think if you asked anybody to name both their favourite trance DJs as well as remixers Ferry's name would always appear.

Additionally he has so many aliases - you can hardly keep up.

This is a real monster of a track - just another trance epic.

The original fist came out in 1998, but this remix was a couple of years after and 25 years on, it is still just as epic.
