I'd totally forgot about this one, but it's no real surprise that it is such a corker when you consider that it combines the remix and music talents of Tin Tin Out and Tall Paul.

Most certainly Good Fello's.

This is a lively throbbing piano corker which jsut gets better the longer it goes on and then further explodes with an avalance of piano.

Just a top top track.

Great bit of vocal house from 1995.

Tall Paul behind this one and I have to say it is very unlike anything he would play or usually make/remix.

It's just a great piece of vocal house and is an excellent and underplayed track.

Great remix by the Nush boys, but that is always guaranteed.

 Massive track from 1994 which caused mayhem on the dancefloor.

There were lots of remixes done of this also, but for me the original still contains all that is necessary, although the Tall Paul version is also pretty epic.

The "I can find new ways to motivate them" sample is of course one of Darth Vader's immortal lines in Star Wars and hence the title.

Lisa Moorish scored a succession of club hits circa 1994-95 with the likes of 'Beautiful Morning', 'I'm Your Man' and 'Just the Way It Is', as remixed by the likes of Tin Tin Out, E Smoove and Loveland, respectively. 'Mr Friday Night' is representative of the pick of the bunch, owing in no small measure to a sensational rework from Tall Paul and Tin Tin Out, whose Goodfellos remould outclasses those supplied by Wubble U and Deep Dish. A pounding behemoth of a track with classy vocals and an awesome breakdown, 'Mr Friday Night' decimated many a dancefloor in early 1996.

"I Love Your Precious Heart"!!!

Staying on the rock cover theme, here's two great tracks which sample an extremely well known rock song.
This time it's "Never Tear Us Apart" by INXS,  and again done very effectively.
The Exhange version takes a hell of a long time time to peak, but be patient as it builds and builds superbly and then when it does peaks, it is pure heaven as it releases the chorus;
"Don't ask me, what you know is true"
"Don't have to tell me, I love your Precious Heart"
The Tall Paul version is very similar in style but probably a tad more instant and more vibey.
I'm not sure which version I prefer as I think both are great.

A huge one for the Roses fans!!!

Hi folks, apologies for the lack of activity on the blog recently, but the last few weeks have been pretty busy.

Now I'm sure there are many of you out there who like myself were huge Stone Roses fans.

I still play their first album now and again and it still sounds amazing particularly "I am the resurrection". They also made some fantastic tracks which weren't on the album, other faves were "Elephant Stone" and "Sally Cinnamon". The second album was good also.

Fools Gold was always the Roses "clubbiest" track and here is gets a great remix by the Rabbit in the Moon team.

It can't of been easy trying to remix something as classic as Fools Gold, but they pull it off superbly.

I've also upped the original as it was such a legendary track anyway!!
