Dear Fellow Dance Music Lovers,
This blog brings you the best in Dance Music and Club Classics; from early 87 (back in the daze) through to the present day.
For all those who rocked it all night until the early hours, to those that lived for clubbing and couldn't wait for the weekend to arrive. Enjoy and leave any comments on the blog or contact direct by email at pureclubclassics@live.co.uk
Such a great track from way back in 1985, which 40 years on still sounds great.
It starts a little steady with a fairly slow tempo, but then really picks up about half way through when it suddenly becomes a lot more dance orientated and then just continues to grow from there.
When the piano kicks in then it really starts to take off.
Another great Parky remix, this time alongside his Hacienda buddy Mike Pickering produced in 1989.
When you think of the dancefloor delights that those two have cooked up over the years in their various guises, there aren't many out these who can equal them for quality.
Parky's Remixes are always right on the button and always drop in that piano that we all love so much.
This is exactly one of those remixes.
It uses the vocals to great effect with a great punchy house vibe and layers of great synth and piano.
Lovely.
This one goes out to Smiler.
Enjoy fella - it's a great track.
Remember people, if anyone ever has any suggestions for tracks they think are worthy of PCC status let me know and we'll consider posting them.
I've had some really amazing feedback on the BiR remixes posted recently notably Xanadu, Uninvited, Souvenir etc.
Hence as it seems that there are many of you out there, who like me love what BiR do to songs, that is transform them into epic club monsters, then here we are with another.
This time BiR take a really dodgy ABC track, tinkle with it as only they can do and create another great track. Not as instant as many of their others but still worthy of club classic status.
