Now here's an old fave which I've not heard for years but still sounds amazing.

This is one of the great pleasures of continuing with the PCC blog and why after all these years I continue to post great tracks.

Great remix by 7th Heaven. The piano in this is just superb.

Used to love this back int'day and it really rocked the dancefloor.

It was a huge Tony De Vit track and one he is pretty reknown for playing and also remixing.

I never went to Trade/Turnmills, but by all accounts it was off the scale.

Another corking remix from T-empo (as they always are).

Raising the tempo!

This track was a real banger back in't day.

A bit of contrast in tempo to the last track posted, but that is the beauty of dance music it comes in all shapes and sizes and good is good regardless of tempo.

This is a real stomper which epitomised the type of tracks Tony De Vit used to play.

Tony was a great DJ and also produced and remixed many top notch tracks (R.I.P and respect).

This is certainly on the harder side of tracks you'll see on this blog, but is hopefully one you'll enjoy?

Wood Work

An absolutely uproarious piano classic here that we really should have posted some while ago. 

'Joanna' was one of those tracks whereby the original version was almost entirely overlooked in favour of a prolific remix, in this case delivered by Tony De Vit. 

However, the original is actually really good (and hence also posted). 

TDV lets his fingers do the walking on this pianotastic hardbag version, though, which left a fair few devastated dancefloors in its wake. 

Mrs Wood herself was responsible for some rather large tuneage back in her heyday, but seemed to disappear following the release of '1,2,3,4' in 1998. 

I wonder what became of her?
