She was true genius who ruled for decades through the 80s, 90s, 00s with frequent chameleon like image changes always shocking, always trailblazing and always accompanied by brilliant music tracks.
A lot of her earlier career didn't have too much dancefloor appeal, more so the latter part.
This is a fine example with a great remix by Oakey, just using the great Madonna vocal prowess to great effect.

This was also a big Hacienda track and I have very fond memories of grooving away on the dancefloor when this was dropped by Mr Park, way back in 1992.

Her longevity, her chameleon like nature to transform into something totally different and still stay current will never be surpassed.
Many of her early tracks although great pop tracks, were never very dancefloor compatible.
Since then many have been remixed and this is one of the best.
A fantastic piece of work by Tom Moulton which like most good remixes keeps the very essence of the original but just adds those little bits which make it more dance-tastic.

Like her or loathe her there was never any question of her talent and Chameleon capability to create new scenes and trends.
Despite having an element of dance in her tracks, there were very few which were big club tracks.
This is one of the better remixes courtesy of Victor Calderone which creates a well produced progressive builder.

It would be the understatment of the century to say that Madonna has produced some wonderful records.
Just check this out for a fantastic remix. Above and Beyond have created some brilliant stuff and their type of trance is just my bag. Not too heavy, but really pumping, yet melodic at the same type with epic build ups and drops.
As mentioend previously on this blog, I get sent loads of tracks and request to post stuff, but as always tracks only get posted which meet the criteria of being a pure club classic.
I only put up a Madonna post a few days ago and now it's disappeared??
I get an awful lot of tracks which people send to me asking for reviews, posting it on the blog and the like. To be honest the majority of them (about 90% in fact) are pretty crap and certainly not worthy of Pure Club Classic status.
