Close to musical perfection!

Yesterday I posted a track where the original dated back to 1967 and this one is only a year after.

Although this is almost 60 years old, it still trumps pretty much everything made since.

Close to musical perfection, the instruments, the lyrics, the vocals, the groove and Diana's voice - just heavenly.

Just one of the most amazing tracks.

This Tom Moulton remix, just enhances all the best bits of the original - as mentioned close to musical perfection.

My love for Diana is eternal and PDM is not too far behind.

Diana's voice is just so unique, pure and soothing - simply gorgeous.

Here PDM retains the essence of those great vocals and just disco-ifies it up, as he does.

Very surprised that I've only posted 5 Diana tracks on the blog to date. That must change!

She is without doubt one of my all time favourite female vocalists and every track she has ever touched is golden.

Her tracks also remix well because the vocals are so amazing.

Eric Kupper did a series of house based remixes and they are all great.

This is one of them, which keeps all the amazing qualities of the original track, but just gives it that extra dance-ability and house feel.

Simply gorgeous!

Diana is one of my all time favourite vocalists and Frankie (RIP) is one of my all time favourite remixers.

They combine to provide a beautiful piece of house music from 1994.

Another fantastic track from the evergreen legend that is Diana, to think this first came out in 1976.

This Frankie remix is just perfection.

The tracks starts off slowly and is very laid back, but is oh so beautifully velvet and smooth, with some sublime piano, then half way through it increases tempo and becomes more housey.

Total Frankie genius - R.I.P - the true house legend!

I've also posted the Eric Kupper remix from 2020 which is more upbeat still and although not as good as Frankie's version is still very tasty.

How about this one then, Morales the self-titled The Boss remixing The Boss!!
This is a great Morales remix, very dramatic with some huge piano drops!!
Diana Ross is one of my all time favourite vocalists and I've always loved all her tracks from her Motown years right up to her last good tracks like Chain Reaction.
Her vocals on this are par excellence.
This is one of her most famous tracks, given a wonderful remix by Morales.
When Morales is good, he's very good. This is "The Boss"

Now I know that there's probably lot of huge Princess Diana fans out there, but I certainly ain't one of them, unless you mean the real Diana - a la - Mrs. Ross.

This is the real Diana - her of the Supreme vocals (no pun intended).
