Another complete behemoth of a record here. 'Butterfly', Tilt's fourth release for Perfecto, constitutes a collaboration with Zee Cowling of More Protein and 'Dreamtime' notoriety. Zee lends her unmistakable tones to this track, underpinned as they are by a typically euphoric trance soundscape. Rather unusually the radio edit comprises a mix in and of itself, rather than being a curtailed version of a lengthier offering. The original mix is darker and a bit more driving and loses something of the appeal of the radio edit. Why an extended radio edit of a more satisfying duration was never released escapes me. But that is my only criticism, this is one of my favourite Perfecto tracks being as I am a massive fan of both of the artists involved.
Used to love this one (and still do!!).
It was a massive Oakey track back in 1996 and still retains the same old magic today.
There were loads of remixes done and some pretty good, but it is still the Original Mix that does it for me.
It's funny with House tracks the remixes nearly always seem to be better than the original, but with trance tracks the Original Mix's nearly always do it for me.
Look people if you don't like this one, then you don't like trance baby!!

I have been a huge fan of John Graham's since first encountering mid-nineties Perfecto tracks such as 'Believe In Me' and 'I Dream', which I would scurry down to my local Our Price to purchase on cassette single as soon as they were available.
The 2000-released 'She Does' remains, in my opinion, his finest composition, outmatching even 'Everything's Not You'.
Anyone who was once part of the Tilt triumvirate can do absolutely no wrong in my book, and Quivver is one of those rare producers who is a singer-songwriter to boot; very much in the same vein as BT and Moby.
This understated epic is wrought in characteristically proggy style, and at once manages to be both hypnotic and massively uplifting.
Just looking down the artists and remixers list on the blog, I can't believe that I haven't post any Tilt tracks previously, as they produced some amazing trance masterpieces.
This one was massive and was one of Oakey's big trance tracks back in 1999.
It has such an amazing atmosphere and feel to it.
I loved the little "squeeky" riff in it as well.
Trance never sounded so good.
Absolutely huge.
