Really surprised that I've not posted this yet at this was a huge fave back in the day and a perfect last track of the night selection.

First released in 1991 it is just such a great track with some sumptious vocals from Nicole Williams.

More indie dance than pure dance, but as mentioned such a great track for last of the night and all joining in unity. I remember it being played last track at Cream once in the early 90's.

Still sounds amazing and it should have been much bigger than it was.

All of you will be, every part of me!

 Always loved this track.

It was featured on a Cream Summer anthems CD from 1997 which I played to death at the time as it was a great mix of summer tracks.

It still sounds great and has some great lyrics as well as strong vocals and a really great summer vibe.

This was a huge track for our Posse when on the nations finest dancefloors in 1994.

It was huge at Cream, Vague, Back To Basics and pretty much every club dancefloor in the UK at the time.

Just one of those great tracks which set the club alive.

Brings back some great memories and still sounds great 30 years on.

 Love this track and it was huge in 1993.

Quite a long intro and it takes a while to build so be patient.

However, the wait is certainly worth it when it explodes with a crescendo of piano.

Great early progressive track.

Fond memories of this from Cream in the early 90's.

Now I can't believe that I haven't posted this before.
It's one of those tracks which I could have sworn I'd already posted.
Well, if I haven't it's certainly well over due.
I have to say that back in 1994 this was probably one of my favourite tracks.
It was simply amazing in clubs, with it's bouncing hypnotic beat, the fantastic loops, the brilliant piano breakdowns and of course those fabulous lyrics.
It was an amazing track to dance and sing along to.
I'm smiling just thinking of those nights at Cream and Love To Be dancing on the stage and singing the lyrics to the glamorous females on the dancefloor.

I believe this was one of Oakenfold's favourite tracks. 

I first heard it on a couple of compilation cds, then found it buried on a back shelf in a record store in Dublin. 

Personally I love this track, again its from the 1996/1997 and if any of you out there frequented Cream, im pretty sure you heard Oakey drop this banger!!

If there's one track that reminds me of Cream!!

I'm sure we all have tracks which remind of us certain clubs and of course fantastic memories.

Now I' lost count how many times I went to Cream but if there is one track which every time I hear it, reminds me of Cream then it has to be this track.

To say this was huge is an absolute understatement.

From the moment that little tinkle of piano kicked in everyone was totally on it.

A truly fabulous track with some fantastic tribal chanting, it used to be great watching everyone trying to sing along and reckon they understood the words. Come on you know who you are.

We all did it. Lol.

This IMHO is by far the best version - a seriously good Hardfloor remix. Check out the Hardfloor dub which is also a fine piece of hard acid.

A big shout out to Nic G - I know you like this one fella.

Keeping on the trance vibe!!!

Now here's the best thing that Utah Saints ever did. Forget all that commercial stuff like "What can you do for me" and "Something Good" (although that was quite good), this one is the real deal.

The best track they ever made by far - another awesome tune that Oakey hammered.

I remember hearing this in Cream and being totally blown away.

A great remix by Red Jerry - who did some pretty hot remixes (e.g. Wizards of Sonic).

This ones a really pumping track, but then breaks down into the most amazing trance moment with some beautiful piano, it really is another "shivers down the spine" moment.

Simply stunning!!

Another real stomping tune from back in 1995 and another track whcih brings back fond memories of nights at Cream.

It took a while to track down the exact mix I was after, but big thanks to Harvs once again.

There are several people who have given fantastic support to this site providing tracks for "wanted gems". So a big shout out to Harvs, Grim Reaper, Antii, the boys from my favourite blog http://oldschoolhousemusic1990-2000.blogspot.com/ , thats Colo, Ste, Dave, Gav, Holty and the rest of the crew.

If there are any others who have provided tracks and I've not mentioned above a big shout out to you also. Respect.

Back to the track, it's one of those with a pretty long intro and build up, but oh wait for that piano breakdown - Awesome - a proper hands in the air moment - no doubt.

I'm going to be calling this type of track - Nu Skool in future. In my mind old skool was up to 1994, then came lots of different genres, e.g. Progressive House, Handbag House, Hard House, Disco House etc but none of them really capture tracks like this, so they will fall into the Nu Skool category, as there are lots of these type of tracks on the blog.

Now there's a statement, that would have had a different meaning 15 years ago.

I'm sure the old skool posse (the wide awake crew) will get the vibe.

Anyway here we are with an anthem of monstrous proportions. It brings back some fantastic memories of Cream in Liverpool and I'm sure it's one of those tracks that'll bring back memories for nearly everyone.

For about a year in 1994/95 this was played in every club up and down the country by all respecting DJ's. It really was (and still is) a wonderful track.

There's also a shed load of different remixes. The Junior Vasquez (Sound Factory Vocal Mix) was the most widely played, but the Brothers in Rhythm remix is (as expected) fantastic and the Todd Terry remix (as expected as well) is pretty damn hot. The Roger Sanchez remix is quality and the Junior Vasquez Padapella remix is also pretty lush!

Hence, here you go, you have a choice of all 5.

Gonna Lift You Up!!! - You Bet!!!

This is a fairly well known track (commercialised by Loveland) and one which was widely played out in clubs.

However, in my opinion this is by far the best version and remix of this track, which turns it into a huge piano epic. It's that bit when the piano kicks in on the key change - awesome.

Turn it up loud.

This track really rocked the dancefloors and brings back some excellent memories of nights at Cream.

A true classic from the legend that is Oakey!!

Out of all the club music which I've been fortunate enough to come across and listen to, all the clubs I've frequented (and everything else that goes with it), there is one DJ who I would single out as being the absolute Number 1 and that is Oakey.

He's been there from the start pre-Acid House (1987), he's remained at the forefront of dance music, breaking new genres, new tracks, remixing, producing, you name it he's done it.

On top of it all he is the one DJ who never and I mean never, ever failed to disappoint when playing live.

I had so many nights at Cream when he just blew me away and absolutely rocked the gaffe.

His sets would take you on an absolute journey and when he played a set it was impossible to leave the dancefloor. The guy is simply awesome.

This track is an absolute classic with some beautiful vocals that simply melt you. Both mixes are fantastic, true balearic bliss.
