It's just the sun rising, it's shining!

The Beloved were one of my fave dance acts.

Jon Marsh's vocals were just on another level and of course they were heavily involved in the whole Acid House scene.

This is one of their most famous tracks, but with a great remix by the main man Danny R.

Danny for me didn't get into the studio enough, as most of his remixes were class and just hit the spot.

In a nutshell "class!"

 Absolutely stunning track from one of my favourite female vocalists.

Everything about this track oozes class.

Superb vocals, fantastic production and some delightful piano thrown in for good measure.

Produced by The Beloved which explains why it has such a beautiful glowing feel to the track.

A true PCC!

The Beloved have always been a band I have loved.
Jon Marsh's vocals are IMHO the best male vocals out there. Talk about soothing.
We always used to play lot's of The Beloved on Sunday's winding down from some chaotic clubbing the night before. It was perfect to soothe your soul.
This track came much later 1996, but it is absolutely exquisite, bordering on perfection.
The whole feel and atmosphere of the track just takes me to another place.
Pure bliss!!!

Not the first Beloved track on the Blog, but probably the most up-tempo. In fact as far as Beloved tracks go, it's about as quick as they get.

Great vocal, uplifting melody, pumping bassline and a trancy keyboard riff to boot....

If you are thinking to yourself "I don't like The Beloved", give this a listen and you may just change your mind.

Allister Whitehead used to hammer this for a spell in '96 and it brings back lots of memories of what was to be my last year of going out clubbing on a weekly basis. After '96 most of my favourite haunts had either closed down, moved venues, or simply lost their sparkle!

About this track - most definitely Jon Marsh's/The Beloved's finest moment and that is high praise indeed, as he/they have produced some fantastic tracks over the years.

This one brings back fantastic memories of the Corn Exchange in Leeds a venue that really rocked.
