 Another track which I'm surprised I haven't posted on the blog before now.

An absolute classic which still sounds amazing.

Mental Cube were another alias for Future Sound of London.

Those acid squelchy sounds were so original and exciting back then and still sound great today.

A timeless house classic from 1991.

Progressive oh yeah!

Fine piece of progressive house from 1992 from FSOL under the guise of Metropolis.

This was a biggie at Back To Basics in Leeds, as was Hyporeel which I've already posted.

This was very much the sound of the time.

It feels a little dated now, but still very good.

It always reminded me of birds tweeting!!!

Sheer quality!

Absolute classic track with that classic F.S.O.L magic.

I was never a big fan of Prefab Sprout although they were quite big in the 80's.

This remix is sensational though and has you encapsulated from start to finish.

Top class.

Corking track from The Future Sound of London with that ever so familiar piano riff used many times in many tracks.(Taken from Nikita Warren's - I Need You).
The other track called Metropolis was also pretty decent and worthy of a post in months to come.

Alright Peeps, Apologies for my lack of posting recently, things have been hectic.
Although I see Rich has been looking after you with some belting posts. Nice one fella!!
This one is a true PCC and one I've been meaning to post for a while.
FSOL also made great tracks under the alias of Metropolis and Humanoid (plus many others).
However, this is probably their finest hour.
A beautiful ethereal piece of floaty progressive house from 1991.
Always loved the line
"Doh, hoh, ho, oh, oh, Yeah"
This was huge back in the day and although it was a track I dearly loved, it was one which I always found difficult to dance to.
Enjoy all the same.
