Leave you in the summertime!

Superb remix of a Led Zeppelin classic.

Quivver did some great remixes.

This was big in an Oakey Essential Mix, if I remember correctly.

Probably not liked by LZ fans, but a really great piece of remix work which I think uses the original really well and creates a real dancefloor epic.

Quality from start to finish.

Rise again!

A track that always sent to the dancefloor nuts.

This was a massive track at Back To Basics back in 1993 and was very much at the forefront of the progressive house phenom.

Just a superb piece of dance music, hard edged, yet groovy, funky and with some great piano breakdowns.

Just massive in every sense and devastating on the dancefloor.

A true PCC!

 – Rise

Hoo's for the bar!

Corking piece of Progressive House from back in the halycon days of the early 90's.

This one isn't quite as engaging as "Promises", but is a fine slice of progressive house all the same.

Driving, fizzing from the off the track has great energy and hits all the right buttons.

Enjoy!

Follow the rainbow!

One of those tracks which is a bit of a guilty pleasure.

From 1994 this is a track which really bangs and has some epic moments.

A real quality piece of hard techno from Belgium which stills sound pretty unique today.

This should have been a lot bigger than it was.

What's not to like!

Float like a ........

Corking piece of progressive house from 1997.

When you see Heliotropic you know it's going to be on the money as all their tracks and remixes were superb.

This is no exception and is very much an hidden little gem which didn't get the dancefloor exposure that it deserves.

Still sounds great almost 30 years on.

Enjoy!

Up ahead!

Possibly BT's finest hour (or 13 minutes)?

It was certainly a monumental track and one which showcased all his musical talents.

Full of glorious layers of piano and also some exquisite guitar strings, in conjunction with Tori's ethereal vocals.

It's quite a journey at 13 mins, but always keep you fully immersed in the track and what's coming next.

One I never heard on the dancefloor, but I suspect it would have had a great impact.

Most certainly a great example  of progressive house and one that still sounds amazing some 30 years on.

I've also added a PVD remix which is very solid and although less musical and creative, it certainly bangs.

Howdy Disco Citizens!

D.O.P. were right at the front of the progressive house movement back in 1991/92 and this was one of their stand out track which still sounds great.

Anything on Guerilla records at the time was right on the pulse.

This was massive on pretty much every discerning dancefloor across the UK.

The "Howdy Disco Citizens" line was always great and the segue to a Disco section in the track.

However, it was the fierce synth vibes which really made this fizz and bang.

Amazing track which would still rock any dancefloor!

Come on "Show Some Love"

Used to love this track back int' day and still do.

This was one of those tracks at the epicentre of the progressive house scene in 1992.

It's just got such an infectiocius deep progressive groove that hooks you in.

It still sounds amazing and much better than 99% of current dance tracks out there.

It would still go down an absolute treat if played in clubs today!

Progressive heaven!

Another track which I'm surprised I've not posted before now.

This was massive in 1993 and right at the forefront of the progressive house movement.

Still sounds mazing today.

Superb work by David Holmes who was behind many works of art and also a great DJ in that era.

This was another really exciting era of dance music as clubbing swept the nation.

A bit of a monster!

Totally forgot about this one.

An absolute corker from 1995.

Yet another piece of pure class from D.O.P. who were one of the great progressive house trailblazers.

This track was massive in clubs an absolute banger which still sounds great today.

Get on it!

Respect Diggers!

Huge track from Diggers which still sounds amazing all these years on.

To be honest I wasn't a huge fan of Diggers and really thought the music him and Sasha played was overrated and a bit boring.

Don't get me wrong, I can understand why they had the adulation they did, but it just wasn't my bag.

Too much of their stuff was 10 mins long tracks with no real peak and often tracks which sounded ok in clubs, but pretty dull out of clubs.

This is a huge exception and is a superb piece of Progressive house at it's very best.

Respect to you Mr Digweed, this one did rock!

Welcome....to our temple of love!

Quality prog house track from 1996.

Another of those tracks with lots going on that pulls you in and kicks hard.

This combo created some great tracks and Casper Pound was very influential in the scene under many aliases.

Just sublime!

This brings back some great memories from 1992.

This was a monstrous track back then and at the forefront of the progressive house sound.

Alawys a big track at Back To Basics in Leeds for weeks on end.

Still sounds great today and that peak at 3.46 mins was an epic "hands in air" moment which blew the roof off.

Exciting times, great memories.

Immortal track! Just sublime!

Feel that funky guitar!

Quite surprised I haven't posted this one before now.

This was a killer tune at Back To Basics in Leeds back in 1994.

It was one of those tracks which was played by all the top jocks of that era and always went down a storm.

It feels a touch dated now, but still remains as a Progressive House classic.

Progressive masterpiece!

A true progressive house classic from 1992.

React 2 Rhythm made some great tracks and coupled with Fabi Paras and you had progressive heaven.

Fabi was at the very forefront of the progressive house scene background and produced and remixed many fantastic tracks.

He was also a great DJ in addition to playing the bongo's.

This track is just pure progressive power from start to finish, building, layering, changing pace but always fierce and exciting.

It also has the longest remix title in history (probably?)

That's alright!

Staying on the 1992 vibe another absolute corker.

Cowboy Records was one of the very best labels of the 90's most notably leading the way on the progressive house scene with the Boys Own crew.

This is a really great track full of energy, vibrancy and some corking piano.

Still sounds great 32 years on.

Enjoy!

All rise to the legend

Love Fabi Paras' remix work as it always top notch and you always know it's going to contain a banging bit of piano.

This is right on cue and provides a spanking progressive house number from 1992.

Just damn fine club music.

Fabio was definitely a legend!

Enjoy!

Gonna be alright!

This was always a big tune for us and reminds me of great memories of Back To Basics in Leeds back in 1993.

Mukkaa produced some great tracks and that Limbo label out of Scotland was at the very forefront of the progressive house scene in the early 90's.

This is a pulsing throbbing monster of a track which still sounds great.

Don't worry - it's gonna be alright!

Get on the floor if you've got that booty!

 Another progressive banger from 1995.

The SPS produced some great tracks, very club orientated and very good on the dancefloor.

Ain't nothin' but tutti-frutti. Get on the floor if you've got that booty

"Everybody reach"

A quality and very much underplayed progressive house classic from 1993.

Using the same - hoo-hoo chants as Brothers Love Dubs - The Mighty Ming, it also contains some lush piano and is a great track, which even thirty odd years on still sounds great.
