Monster mash up!

Not really sure what to think if this one.

At first I thought it was just a spiced up version of around the world, which was sounding fine and then in kicks a medley of PCC mash up piano breaks, as below.

We had such a fine time together!

One of my all time favourite vocalists, just such a fantastic singer.

Her album "And Still I Rise" is one of my all time favourites and I spent many a Sunday chilling out to it in the 90's after a long clubbing session the night before.

Alison is of course most known for the fabulous "Where Love Lives" which although a bonafide club classic, it has been so overplayed that it has now lost some of it's original fizz.

This is a great track which fully emphasises Alison's vocal power accompanied by a great remix from the Oakey/Osborne - Perfecto duo.

We had such a fine time together!

Staying on the Alison Limerick vibe.

There are so many fantastic remixes of this anthem, that I had to post them all, as they are all of the highest quality and worthy of PCC status.

Each one provides a different angle to a truly fantastic song and of course stupendous vocals by Alison.

The Flying Rulebook Mix by Steve Anderson is just lush, like eating Belgian chocolate, so heavenly and glorious.

Lord knows we've waited!

 There are lots of remixes of this and despite good attempts by Frankie Foncett and MAW, none quite top this original version.

Alison was one of the truly great vocalists of our generation and was very much more than just "Where Love Lives".

This is a great track which showcases her amazing vocals.

Fantastic groovy laid back house music.

 Absolutely stunning track from one of my favourite female vocalists.

Everything about this track oozes class.

Superb vocals, fantastic production and some delightful piano thrown in for good measure.

Produced by The Beloved which explains why it has such a beautiful glowing feel to the track.

A true PCC!

Apologies for no posts recently, not had much time to be honest.
But now back with a banger.
A total house classic from my all time favourite album - "And Still I Rise".
Alison's voice is amazing.
The album is just stunning from start to finish.
I used to play it to death, especially on a Sunday after a hard nights clubbing the day before.
I you like classic house music a al Frankie and Morales, then you'll love it.
I still play it now and get goosebumps.

Oh Yes - The Magic's Back Again!!!!

Now then people, I hope you are all well.
Now here's a tune and a half for you.
Most people will remember the M.A.N.I.C. track "I'm Coming Hardcore", which wasn't really hardcore, but we all used to love the amazing piano riff.
Well this is where the piano riff was lifted from.
If you haven't heard this before you've just got to check it.
It's the piano riff from heaven and a few lush Alison Limerick vocals to boot.
Believe me "the rhythm is hot"!!!
