Really on the edge of commercial/credible, however I think it just sneaks in.

Yes, it's sugary pop but it's very enjoyable.

Kylie is just incredible and her longevity is true testament to her legend superstar status.

Moto Blanco are experts at turning pop songs into bona fide club tracks.

Credit where it's due!

Love her or hate her (and I think most people love her), you can't knock Kylie's longevity and her consistent re-creation icon status.

Much of her success has been through association with amazing producers like Steve Anderson (aka the other half of Brothers in Rhythm with Dave Seaman).

Anything Steve  produces totally encapsulates me, the guy is a complete supremo.

Is this too commercial to be a PCC?

Probably not one for your purist house clubs, but definitely one that would have been great in many of the edgy/glam clubs.

I think it's a glorious example of a great commercial dance track.

Oh boy TE did it again!

 Another stupendous remix by the wonderful talent that it the Trouser Enthusiasts from 1997.

Their remixes are always absolutely on point and of the very highest quality.

This one is just as epic as all their stuff, cleverly using the Kylie lyrics alongside their pumping trance vibe.

Kylie's vocal in this one, sounds very much like Garbage (I mean Garbage the band, I'm certainly not eluding they are rubbish LOL!)

Sometimes you just gotta keep searchin'!

I searched for this track for years and years and I've finally got to the version I wanted.

I first heard it on an old mix tape from 1992 which I used to play to death.

I then (wrongly) assumed it was Kylie Minogue and tried to track down all the versions and remixes of her track. 

Although the Brothers In Rhythm remixes were great, they just weren't a patch on this track.

Then in 2009 I came across this Within A Dream version and posted it on the blog, but although it was the right track, it still wasn't the right mix.

12 years on I've finally found the mix I was after and here it is.

Well worth the wait, it is an absolute corker of a track with little "fireworks" shooting off frequently and some delightful piano interlaced with some great female vocals.

Sometimes you just gotta keep searchin'!

Yeah, I know this is poppy as hell, but I remember hearing Jon of Pleased Wimmin drop it when I was on the floor at Back 2 Basics and it absolutely set the place alight.
It's all about the timing!!

Back to the Old Skool - Oh Yeah!!!

Now here's a track that will bring back some memories for you all.

This band PBT were pretty local to me (close to Leeds) and they used to play regularly at local dance/rave events like Universe (usually held in Bradford) back in the early 90's. They always really rocked the place and for some strange reason used to dress up in Nurse's outfits - Bizarre!!

This was there main track and a really great track with exactly the same riff and same vocals as FPI Project "Everybody All Over the World". However, it just sounded so much better than the FPI version. The intro was great and as soon as you heard it, you could "feel the rush"!!!

It was the special emphasis on the "just 4 you-ooo" that made this track special.

A real hands in the air old skool tune.

It also samples the Visionmasters " Keep Pumpin' it Up" Which was an awesome old piano choon. Just check out the piano on that one and the fabulous Kylie vocal (she never sounded so good). That tune used to remind me of some great nights at Angels in Burnley - where it was always a big favourite!!

I'll tell you what, as it's 3 for 1 night, I'll put up the other 2 tracks so you can compare and contrast.

To be fair they are all club classics. Remember hands in the air old skool posse!!!

BiR turn Kylie into a club classic!!

BiR create what is in my mind Kylie's finest track as an artist. 

Probably because there's not much Kylie in it and plenty of BiR. 

I remember it being played at Cream and it totally rocked the main room. 

This one starts off quite slow, but builds into an epic finale. 

There's some great giggles in there from Kylie also.
