Create a cosmic.....

Another great track regularly featured in Sasha sets in the early 90s, quite often with another track overlayered.

The mix with Ultracynic's - Nothing Is Forever is a really fond memory and caused absolute dancefloor mayhem, with not a dry eye in the house.

Legendary days.

Create a cosmic orgasm!

Ursula Hybsch ‎- Orgasm

(Intro)

Oooh ooh yeah!

Quite surprised that this one hasn't been posted before.

It was a biggie from that halcyon piano house era of 1991 and a regular track in Sasha's mix sets from that era.

Still sounds great all these years on.

Only your love can set me free!

Oooh ooh yeah!

Dance while the record spins!

Initially the main focus of the PCC blog back in 2009 when I first started was to hunt out and share all the great tracks which we knew and loved from our clubland experiences.

At that time in 2009 blogs were the "in thing" and youtube was still in it's infancy and hence many tracks were very hard to find and hence we had a great network of dance music blogs ripping vinyl and sharing all our hidden gems.

As time has passed pretty much everything is now on youtube so everything is freely available.

In the early years of the blog I'd purposely avoided posting tracks which were mainstream and easy to find. However, as time has passed to still very relevant to post some of these more overground (but still underground) classics.

Here's one such track from 1991, it'll need no introduction, but it still sounds great and that piano break will always hit the spot.

It was a huge Sasha track back int'day.

Everybody's moving to the beat!

Possibly one of the most widely played club tracks (ever?).

Back in 1991 when this came this track was in the box of every single DJ in clubland.

Caned by the likes of Sasha and all the top house jocks of the time, it was on just about every mix tape of that era.

There were lots of versions and remixes but this C&C one is the best of the bunch,

It captures it all great vocals, great piano, great percussion, great production, just an all time bona fide PCC.

Still sounds bloody amazing all these years on.

So good, it's so good!

Great track from Sunscreem under their "Anna" guise.

This track was huge in the early 90's and caned by the likes of Sasha and Digweed.

Another that still sounds superb today and would rock any decent club dancefloor.

Get on it!

So good, it's so good!

All this talk is getting me down!

Totally love this track from 2012, very unique and just so great.

I must admit I lost a lot of love for Sasha after 1993 when his DJ and remix work went too long, too proggy and frankly a bit boring for my tastes.

However, this is one of his very best in recent times.

A totally stunning piece of music, with some great vocals and a wonderful atmospheric vibe.

All this talk is getting me down,

Nothing' making sense in my brain.

Not that clubby, but really great all the same.

I've gotta go back!

Another track which should have been bigger.

A superb remix by D:Ream with Al McKenzie at the controls, most of his remix work was spot on and often unheralded.

This was a big track in 1993 and was a big fave of DJs like Sasha and John Digweed.

Exquisite vocals by the evergreen Deborah Harry (aka Blondie).

Just lovely!

This one will educate, inform and inspire!

Don't you just love it when you come across a track you haven't heard for ages, one you've forgotton all about and one you totally love?

Well here is such a track.

A monstrous Sasha track back int'day.

It's just sheer class from start to finish.

Be patient with it as it is a slow build up, but my goodness is it worth it.

A simply fantastic track and so, so good to hear again.

This one will educate, inform and inspire!

Love it!

Enjoy!

Higher, take me higher!

Surprised that I haven't posted this one already.

A huge track from 1990 and Sasha's first foray into the remix studio.

It's a superb track, much as you'd expect from the type of music Sasha was playing then (the good old days!)

Get on it!

Here the drummer get wicked and let me lose my mind!

Absolutely huge old skool track from 1991.

It was a huge Sasha track and was hammered by most of the leading DJs at the time.

It was sensational on the dancefloor and the place just erupted when that piano dropped.

The piano is ripped from Secchi's - Whip Of Rhythm which was posted on the blog back in 2010.

For years I wondered what they saying but I guess it's "Gotta Release It?"

Judge Jules was involved in making this also.

Dive in the sea (of tranquility)!

Love this track fantastic remix by The Man Like!

Totally chilled with some luscious piano entwined, perfect for that chill out room, Balearic beats or Cafe Del Mar vibe.

Although not one of his better known mixes, it is in my opinion one of his best and certainly set the scene for a lot of the tracks he made and championed in the future.

This was a pretty novel track from 1992 and way ahead of it's time!

Enjoy!

Different world from everybody!

Love this, another classic old skool track from 1991 and another one which Sasha often dropped.

Scintillating piano from start to finish it really does epitomise that great Italian piano house era.

Those days will never be re-created or forgotten.

Great times!

We were in a different world to everybody!

Enter the Hip-House!

Love this from 1991.

In fact I loved most of the Hip-House type tracks and Daisy Dee's rapping on this is quality.

I can't stand Hip-Hop, but Hip-House oh yes!

This was a big Sasha track back int'day and always went down a treat (although he typically played the dub version), although I actually prefer the 12" Extended Club version.

Pump it Up!

Come on, tune in, to the life!

Always loved this track from 1992.

It's a real builder, so be patient with it.

It was a big Sasha track back int'day.

Not much of Shakespear's Sister in it, just a few nicely sampled warblings, but that doesn't detract from it.

Come on, tune in, to the life!

Black Sky, Blue World, Green  eyes!"

It's one of those tracks that has a warm fluffy appeal to it.

Enjoy!

Shakespear's Sister ‎- Black Sky

(Underworld Dub Extravaganza Part Two)

I've also included this remix which I also love, but was less popular in the clubs.

Love the piano in this.

Quality.

Also added is the original version which is a quality piece of Indie Dance.

It has a similar feel to Fools Gold in parts.

I know you're going to want me!

Surprised that I haven't posted this before now.

This was always a big track back in 1991 and was a regularly a part of Sasha's set.

Great vocals, piano to die for, just a good track which was the epitome of that era.

Enjoy!

Bowa - Different Story

(Original Mix)

Come on! Yaaaaah!

Hard to forget just what a monstrous track this was on the dancefloor.

It was like a pneumatic drill, pounding away blowing the dancefloor to bits.

A huge Sasha fave and a big part of his sets in the early 90s.

Still sounds amazing today.

Simple, hypnotic and just immense!

Sometimes I feel like I'm going to explode!

Just adore this track.

One that was amazing on the dancefloor and would certainly put you in another place.

Lush piano and delightful ethereal vocals.

"Sometimes I feel like I'm going to explode!"

"Can't you feel what I feel?"

A biggie with Sasha back in '91.

A definite PCC.

Put your hands together!

I had to check and re-check again, that I hadn't posted this before, but no I hadn't, which is a real surprise as it is a seminal house classic.

A huge Sasha track back int'day and one which always created a great vibe on the dancefloor.

Sensational vocals, catchy lyrics and such a great groove and vibe.

Bonafide PCC, which all these years on still sounds amazing!

Put your hands together!

Quality never fades!

Enjoy!
