I'd like to dedicate this to all the lovers in the house!

Farley and Heller were always so consistent with their remixes and although I felt some of their stuff was a touch "too US" on occasions, this was certainly one of their top notch remixes.

Superb vocals by the legendary Michael Watford, one of the great house vocalists for amny years and sadly no longer with us.

The piano in this track aligned to the Fire Island percussive beats make this a real stand out track.

Still sounds great 30 years on!

Farley and Heller were experts at creating an infectious groove and vibe like they did with their Junior Boys Own and Roach Motel tracks.

Just very simple repetition but so, so encapsulating and as mentioned infectious.

These tracks made the most sense in clubs as you would just catch the groove and bounce along to them vibing with others on the dancefloor.

Great memories - great track.

It's going to be alright!

 This is just so good on so many levels.

Firstly a great re-working by Messrs Farley and Heller under their Fire Island guise.

Then there is those fantastic vocals by the legendary Loleatta.

The track in itself is a great cover of a very good Style Council track from 1985.

To top it all off, it's had a great refresh and resprinkle by HiFi Sean, which adds extra life and energy.

Quality co-labs going on all over the place on this.

Where is the sunshine!

Love this track from 1992 which I still have on vinyl 12" tucked away in my garage somewhere.

The original mix is just a joyful - sound of summer, real piece of Balearic bliss, whilst the Junior Style House Dub is Farley and Heller doing what they do best; creating funky house grooves.

Espiritu were a great act and produced some really unique and vibrant tracks in the early 90s.

All we need is some sunshine now (but not much chance of that Mid January in Blighty!).

I know it's hardy summer here in old Blighty with temperatures at zero and snow on the ground.
But this one should bring a smile to your face and hopefully put you in a place for warmer climes.
I used to hammer this one back in 1992.
I always thought Espiritu were really unique and had a great Latin Flamenco summery vibe.
Great remix by the Farley/Heller. Top Boys!!

Contender for remix of the century?

Well it' certainly up there!!
Now I'm sure you all know the  poppier version of this track, but this remix is absolutely par excellence.
It is so different from the original, but oh, so good.
It used to be a big Sasha track, back in the day and I have fabulous memories of dancing to this at Soak events in Leeds Corn Exchange back in 1992. Believe me this one used to bring the roof down!!!
Hats off to Farley and Heller, this remix is a Pure Club Classic - storming.
The intro is superb and very funky, but it's when the piano break drops at 3mins 48 secs. Pure Heaven.
If you haven't heard this before, it'll knock your socks off.

So how do you feel about that???

Here's a superb bouncy little old classic from Messrs Farley and Heller, under the guise of Roach Motel.
This was IMHO one of their (Farley and Heller's) best tracks.
It's a really bouncy little number with some great piano and those oh so catchy lyrics.
"You're love disappoints, you're loves got me movin' on"
"So how do you feel about that?"
Quality. There's quite a few mixes of this, but this "the one"!!

No "regrets" about this one, it's pure quality!!

I've always been a huge New Order fan (and Joy Division for that matter), but never been a really big fan of New Order songs which are remixed.
However, this is a real exception.
On the same note I've never been a big Farley/Heller/Fire Island fan.
Their remixes to me are always a bit dull and a tad monotonous.
However, again this is a real exception. The remix is so good it's more like a Frankie Knuckles remix.
Quite simply, it's pure heaven, it really compliments Barney's unique vocals and the piano is just lush (very Frankie Knuckles-esque!!).
It gives the whole track a really beautiful feel.
Absolutely top drawer this one!!

New Order - Regret

Fancy a bit from The Other Two!!!

New Order were and probably still are one of my favourite band.

From the early days of Joy Division right through to the recent days, they have always produced great tracks, not always dancefloor track, but just great tracks all the same.

Everyone always thought is was Barney Sumner and Hooky, who were the real talent behind New Order, so it was great when Stephen and Gillian decided to make a track and with typical New Order wit, decided to name themsleves "The Other Two".

The track's a really catchy vibey track and comes here with a great remix from Terry Farley and Pete Heller.

Those guys were certainly productive in turning out lots of quality house remixes in the 90's.

A really nice track I'm sure you'll agree?
