Ok time for some Paul Gotel to give us a brighter day!!!

To be honest Paul Gotel was not really a remixer I was that aware of. I never releated him to the PG Tips Anthems as in the Lena Fiagbe remixes and didn't associate him with Well Hung Parliament.
Well now he's fully on my radar and recognising the quality of some of his remixes, there will be plenty PG to come.
Let's kick off with a huge piano stomper. This is a really quality track, with some great vocals, but some even better piano. This is pretty huge, believe me. Pure Quality!!! It's one of those tracks that everytime you listen to it, it gets better!!
Again a big shout out to Antti - cheers for this one buddy, plenty more PG to come.
I hope you enjoy people!!

Paul Gotel's Epic Soundscape mix of Loveland's "I Need Somebody" is also 100% quality (as is his one of Double Dee - Found Love). I will rip it over the weekend if no-one can provide before. He also used to record under the name Ca$ino. I did some work with him many, many years ago - he is a thoroughly top bloke!

Hi Dateyboy,
Thanks buddy, I've got the Loveland PG remix and will up it to the blog tomorrow.
I'd be keen to have the Double Dee remix though. I know the original track well, but haven't heard the PG remix.
Not sure I've heard much of his Ca$ino stuff either, so keen to hear some of that as well.
Cheers buddy,
Best regards, PCC

Dateboy, could you tell more about the guy? Has been one of my favourite since '95 (I was 10 years back then). He has a blog: in-nerpower.blogspot.com which handles things in life and what can be read from the blog's first pages is that he was tired and stressed so he got sidelined from music industry for 10 years..now he's back though with D:ream's "All things to all men" single..

Would be great to hear a full on Resurrection sounscape mix of SOUND OF EDEN!

Hi Repe, Can't tell you that much I'm afraid. He was one of the founders of Power Promotions http://www.power.co.uk who began as a mailing source for DJ's records and have grown to become a very successful promotions company that specialise in all forms of dane music. Think of a big track over the last 20 years, and they've usually been involved in plugging it in some way.
I used to specialise in dance music PR as my job and we did some work with him to promote his Ca$ino productions (essentially a cover version of Shade of Rhythm's Sound of Eden and (I think) Talizman's Only You) they weren't his best work IMO but some of his remixes are brilliant. I haven't been involved in the industry for 10 years so didn't know he'd left to do more spiritual things. Really nice bloke and if I recall he was always into that kind of thing, so it's not that surprising.
Hope that helps a bit....I've got some more PG mixes that I'll dig out - I've def got a Bass Bumpers one somewhere.
