Well it's been a while coming but here it is;
I only put up a Madonna post a few days ago and now it's disappeared??
I get an awful lot of tracks which people send to me asking for reviews, posting it on the blog and the like. To be honest the majority of them (about 90% in fact) are pretty crap and certainly not worthy of Pure Club Classic status.No. 1 in PCC's All Time Pure Club Classics Top 30

There's not many tracks, that have the best moment at the very beginning of the recording, however this is the exception.
Here's a fantastic little track for all those old skool clubbers out there.
Possibly one of the cheesiest tracks I've posted on the blog, but that doesn't stop it being a great track and well worthy of being posted.
What can I say about this track, except that it is an absolute stomper!!
Here's a real old skool classic dating back to 1991. It's got some great piano.

I thought long and hard about whether or not to post this tune. Part of the track is totally cringe-worthy and although sounding good back in 1991 - listening to it today is pretty painful (the "we gonna get this place" bit and all the cheesy ravey noises - "house nation" etc - aggh - horrendous. Then again the chorus part "I'm alrright", "Turn, turn, turn turn it up" and the piano is still absolutely belting and sounds just as good now as it did back in the daze.
This should wake you up and help to kick start your weekend.

Well here's two club classics which in my mind have many similarities and the same feel.
Here's one of my favourite tracks of all time. It's simply irresistible.
I've made it no secret on the blog of my liking of all things Brothers in Rhythm remixed and thankfully the poll results also reflected a very strong desire to have more BiR remixes posted.
We've had the password debate and going forward the blog will become a password free site.

I remember first hearing this at Leeds Warehouse in 1991 and thinking what an absolutely mental track.
Been a while since I posted any old skool and the poll tells me that there's plenty out there who want some more old skool.
Get a load of this, another fantastic remix from Chris and James. Those guys really did some great stuff, whether it was DJing (some of their sets were awesome), remixing or producing tracks themselves. Much of their stuff is featured on this blog and they are right up there with my fave remixers alongside, BiR and Jimmy Gomez.
As a further tribute to MJ, I've included what in my opinion are his 6 finest dancefloor "club classic" tracks. Some of these are really fantastic and difficult to get hold of. 
I think everyone that's walked this planet has an opinion on Michael Jackson and whether it is good or bad, there is no mistaking that he was a genius and one of the greatest pop stars that ever lived.

Here's a great classic from 1990; Todd Terry gets hold of a Corina track and does what he does best, by adding his genius to some beautiful vocals.
I'm going to be away in Paris for the next week folks on business (not pleasure, although I'm sure I'll squeeze that in as well).
