They seemed to be on the PA playlist for virtually every club night around that era or certainly that was the case Up North!
While "So Real" was always their stand out track they also had a few other quality tracks, this being one of them.
Filled with lush vocals, great piano, a bit of sax and the sound that was very present in that era, it's another bonafide PCC.

I think I first heard this played out in a club in Blackpool called Sequins (anyone remember that?).
It must have been late 1991 or early 1992.
About the track well it's just a great groovy track with some great vocals, some great piano and a real feel-good factor.

Another really superb new track and one which was a feature of a few Keinemusik sets.
It has a fantastic aura and atmposhere about it with some lovely vocals, great piano and a throbbing bassline.
Not to mention a great drumroll and crescendo.

On the subject of Kidz, my own children were only very young when I first started this blog in 2009.
Fast forward 15 years and it was in fact my daughter that alerted me to this track with a "Dad you'll love this, it was brilliant when dropped in Ibiza this year".
A little about the track well it's just awesome very "Keinemusik" in style and I'm very surprised that they haven't any involvement in it. There's lush piano, epic build up, afro chants and just an incredible atmosphere throughout the track.
It's great to know they are still playing top notch, fresh new tracks in clubs.

I think the Burger Queen remix just pips it for me, as the Diddy remix although very good is pretty similar to their fabulous Atomic remix.

In our day we were spoilt with the likes of FSOL, Sabre's, Underworld, not to mention A&B, Trouser Enthusiasts and may others who were far better than Bicep.
I think it's more that there is so little good quality original music produced these days and hence Bicep do stand out.
Glue is very well known and highly popular (possibly overplayed), but it is nonetheless a very piece of progressive trance and certainly worthy of PCC status!

Love this track very unusual and combining many different styles, but it somehow works.
A great piece of Italo Disco from 1985 which still sounds great almost 40 years on.

A lot of the new tracks which I post are either featured on Graeme Park's radio show which I listen to every week or via known legends in the field like Luvdup and to be honest any of numerous music sources which I listen to when I have chance.
This one was via Parky's show.
It's a fantastic upbeat piece of bubblegum type pop but with such charm and also dancefloor credibility.
Very 80's and with a real Italian Hi-NRG vibe.
Beautiful lush vocals, some great lyrics and some delightful Spanish guitar.
I'd love to stay for ever and another day!
It's a corker.

This is one championed by the legend that is Graeme Park.
Totally piano laden it whips you into a dancefloor frenzy.
I bet this goes down a storm in the clubs.

Why wasn't this track bigger back in '91?
It's a proper old skool banger with some great piano and would have gone down a storm back then.
It's one I never heard played out, which was a shame.
Maybe it was one of those very rare tracks which never got in many of the top jock's boxes.
I can imagine the likes of Vertigo or even early Sasha hammering this.
Regardless, this is what the PCC blog is all about, uncovering and exposing some of those rare and forgotten gems.

PDM does what he does best and creates a superb piece of disco dance floor fodder, whilst Yebba's fantastic vocals still shine through.
The only problem is as just over three and a half minutes, it's way too short.
Maybe PDM was in a rush that day and had to get to a gig! Ha ha!

Junior's status was sometimes tainted by his desire to chase the money, which resulted in more quantity than quality and many remixes which were a bit bland and same-ish.
This however, is one of his better ones, which combines with Whitney's amazing vocals produces a cracking club track. Just the way we like them.
It's fast paced, energetic and very effective.

This is a great remix and Sgt Slick (aka Andrew Ramanauskas) is an absolute master at converting pop tracks into very credible dance floor smashes, this is one such example.
I could well imagine this being dropped by some of the more eclectic DJs, it would also be a great end of night track to finish a set.
Imagine this coming on after a night of intense clubbing and the lights coming on.
Dancefloor delirium would ensue!

Whilst the Kariya original version is untouchable this is an absolutely bangin' remix.
Nothing will ever quite match the original, but this was undoubtedely the tune of 2019.
It was simply impossible to avoid.
Whilst it borrows heavily from the original it also gives it an ultra modern feel and oh that piano, is to die for.
An absolute scorcher of a track.

This is much later than the halcyon trance days of the late 90's early 00's, but it still has that same energetic pumping feel.
Anything that Oakey was involved in whether remixes, his own production or just the tracks he played were always gold and that is why he right achieved iconic status.
This has it all big build ups, big drops, pumping energy and ehteral vocals.

Back in 1991 when this came this track was in the box of every single DJ in clubland.
Caned by the likes of Sasha and all the top house jocks of the time, it was on just about every mix tape of that era.
There were lots of versions and remixes but this C&C one is the best of the bunch,
It captures it all great vocals, great piano, great percussion, great production, just an all time bona fide PCC.
Still sounds bloody amazing all these years on.

A delightful piece of melodic trance and a fantastically produced track.
It has a real atmosphere and drive right from the get go.
It draws from so many areas like early Kraftwerk, Jean Michel-Jarre and even Daft Punk.
7 minutes of total aural pleasure, from the uber talented Norwegian producer.

Just a mad track, with loads going on, but just proper Balearic.
There's no pigeon-holing this type of track it just cuts across everything and is hence true to the essence of Balearic.

I first came across this track as a 9 year old and still have the original vinyl 7" single and yes, it still sends the same shivers down my spine every time I hear it.
The vocals, the piano, the saxophone, the guitar, the amazing lyrics, the pause mid-song, the emotions, this will always be an eternal classic.
