Everyday hurts??

An absolutely epic track, as are many of Blue Amazon's remixes.

They certainly produced and remixed some top notch tracks.

This takes you on a huge journey - all 14 and a half minutes of it, but it is one that never gets boring.

The track just keeps on building and building, like all great trance/progressive house tracks.

Skin's unique vocals are equally sensational.

There's probably not enough Blue Amazon on the blog and something I'll have to address in future posts.

Skunk Anansie - Twisted

(Blue Amazon DMC Remix)

You and me together, you and me forever; together!

They don't come any catchier than this one.

It was and still is one of the grooviest tracks out there.

Dating back to the halcyon days of 1989, it was a big track and one you never tire of hearing.

"Give me some more!" Indeed!

Respect to the original version of course by Exodus from 1982.

Raven Maize - Forever Together

(Forever United Mix)

Dance while the record spins!

Another old "piano choons" favourite.

Always loved this one and still do.

It's just so catchy and of course was a big track in 1991.

Enjoy!

P Lion - Burn In His Hands

(Techno Mix)

Where did all, my feelings!

A widely played track from 1992.

Quality crisp production and great stomping piano.

It was always a big hands in the air track.

Still sounds great.

Enjoy!

P.P. Orange - My Feelings

(Original Mix)

Burnin' Like Fire - Going to take you higher!

Love Decade produced some quality tracks back in 1991 and 1992.

They were quite commercial/crossover, but always managed to keep just on the right side of credible.

This one also fits that brief, a tad cheesey, but still very good.

Love the breakdown in this, very Love Decade!

"Burnin' Like Fire - Going to take you higher!"

Enjoy!

Mix Factory - Burnin' Like Fire

(Love Decade Remix)

Sundown or Sunrise, that is the question!

Two sensational tracks from 1991.

I can never decide which I like best Sundown or Sunrise.

They are both class, piano house driven monsters.

As you'd expect Sundown is slightly more energetic and uplifting than Sunrise, but both are quality.

Sundown or Sunrise? What do you reckon?

Choose both, I did!

Enjoy!

M.A.T.E.Y. - Rising High

(Sundown)

M.A.T.E.Y. - Rising High

(Sunrise)

Time waits for no man!

Totally love this track.

Full on deep house from way back in 1987 from the legend that is Marshall Jefferson.

Time marches on indeed, but class is permanent and this is class!

The piano on this is quality!

Enjoy!

Jungle Wonz - Time Marches On

(Club)

Oh yeah, it's time!

Another track which I can't believe I haven't posted before.

Too many tracks and too little time.

Blows the mind to think that this was created in 1983 and still sounds so fresh and alive.

A big track Acid House track. Electro house at it 's very best.

Both mixes are flawless.

Enjoy!

Hashim - Al - Naafiysh

(The Soul)

Hashim - Al - Naafiysh

(Its Time)

I dream!

Cracking track, by a shit band, who actually had some great dance tracks once they'd been completely re-worked by quality remixers (Phil Kelsey on this one).

This track reminds me of lots of others, the intro sounds like ,The Beloved's - Sun Rising and their are also elements that sound just like "Gat Decor's - Passion".

However, there is no mistaking those East 17 vocals which cheesy as they are come across well in this track.

I always think, it would have been worthy of a bigger piano breakdown, but still a great track.

Enjoy!

East 17 - Gold

(Paws On The Floor)

Hacienda vibes in the place!

Cracking old house track from 1989.

A proper Manchester concoction produced by the Hacienda Legends Parky and Pickering and top off with the superb and ever so distinctive vocals of Ms Rowetta (yes, her of Happy Mondays fame).

Raw, like those classic old house tracks of that era and sprinkled with that essential bit of uplifting piano which are customary of all GP remixes.

A great track which still stands out now as a classic.

Enjoy!

Dynasty Of Two featuring Rowetta - Stop This Thing

(Remix)

Don't you want it? Of course you do!

A great little house track from 1992.

A nice infectious groove, coupled with some excellent piano and some fine vocals.

A quality little track.

Get on it!

Davina - Don't You Want It

(Extended)

Need freedom?

A great old skool track from 1991, which always went down well.

Very much in vogue with many of the Italian Piano House tracks which we know and love from that era.

A little ravey/commercial in parts, but just retaining that right side of class to inherit PCC status and inclusion on the blog.

Hope you enjoy!

Antico - We Need Freedom

(Twilight Zone)

I want to tell the whole wide world about you!

Any one remember this?

This goes way back to the beginning.

Released in 1989, it's a catchy little number sprinkled with that bit of essential piano which provides that extra little bit of whoomph and pushes into PCC territory.

A great little track.

"I want to tell the whole wide world about you!"

Enjoy!

A'me Lorain - Whole Wide World

(Wingate 12- House Remix)

Every night in every dream I always seem to see your face!

Another track which I've always loved.

There's just nothing not to like and everything to love.

Lush, breathy vocals, joyful piano and a real good feel good factor.

"Every night in every dream I always seem to see your face!"

I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions as to what Tin Foil Valley is all about!

Great track though!

Angelpie -  Tin Foil Valley

(Rapino Mix)

Cover me in Ecstasy!

A wonderful piece of skippy house music, with endearing vocals superb piano and an all round excellent old skool vibe.

It's even got a little bit of acid squelch in it.

I always loved this track and still very much do.

"Cover me in Ecstasy" indeed!

Jade 4 U - Messenger Of Love

Oldie, but still a goldie!

It amazing that tracks as old as this, still sound so much better than anything today.

This dates back to 1989 and was one of the first house tracks to cross over into the UK charts.

However, that doesn't spoil it and it still retained its's credibility.

That piano still sounds so damn crisp and so uplifting.

Pure Class!

The Mixmaster - Grand Piano

(Club Mix)

A real thing of beauty - reach for the sky!

Totally love this track.

It is like melodic trance, before the genre was even invented.

Fantastic floaty vibe with beautiful subtle piano.

Certainly a bonafide PCC.

The Mackenzie - Higher In the Sky

(Original Mix)

Feel that jazz!

There's not too much Jazz in it to be honest, but it really is a corking old skool track and really one I should have posted a long time ago.

There were some great stuff that came out on Champion.

This is right up there with the best of them.

Enjoy!

Tingo Tango - It Is Jazz

(House Mix)

Sit back, relax and simply enjoy!

Always loved this track, just chilled to perfection.

It still sounds great today even though it is 30 years old.

This is what I'd classify as Ibizian Balearic, perfect for a summers day, getting ready to kick  start the night.

Enjoy, it's a thing of beauty!

The True Underground Sound Of Rome - Secret Doctrine

Don't you know it's a crime?

The legend that is Mr Park brings to life an old classic Gil Scott Heron classic covered by The Christians.

GP always has a superb remix formula of adding some great piano to his remixes, which elevates them to another level.

Enjoy!

The Christians - The Bottle

(Parkside Mix)

Movin' up and down, out up!

Staying on the Anita Adams vibe.

This will is probably slightly better known (and possibly slightly better?)

This was a big hands in the air "piano tune", back in't day (1991)!

Enjoy!

Anita Adams - Movin Up And Down

(Extended Mix)

For your love!

Surprised I've not posted this before.

A bonafide old skool classic.

Does it sound a tad cheesy now?

Possibly, but still very good.

Enjoy!

Anita Adams - For Your Love

(Extended Version)

I'm here to spread love!

A cracking old skool track from 1991.

A great bit of piano coupled with some funky rap.

All is good!

2 For Joy - World Party

(Planet Rap Mix)

Pure delight!

Totally love this track, always a huge fave and still very much is.

Beautifully chilled, but also so engaging and stunningly brilliant.

It's one of those tracks that you never want to end.

The gentle piano chords are to die for.

Most definitely an all time PCC!

Insomnia - I'll Be There

(Late Night Mix)

This will send you Sky High!

A fantastic track from 1996 with some amazing vocals by Billie Ray Martin.

Nothing to do with the Jigsaw disco classic from the 70's.

Class from start to finish, great production.

Enjoy!

Voices pres. Individual - Sky High

(Satoshie's Interpretation)

Let's go to the fairground (twice)!

Superb remix which really brings to life Mick's vocals.

Quality production and superb piano throughout.

It's a belting remix.

Enjoy!

Simply Red - Fairground

(Too Precious Remix)

This remix by Rollo and Sister Bliss is also pretty tasty and worthy of posting. Not as good as the "Too Precious Remix" IMO, but still very good.

Simply Red - Fairground

(Rollo And Sister Bliss Remix)

All you gotta do; is believe!

 Classic house track from 1995.

Just pure class from start to finish.

Great intro, great vocals and some top class production.

All in all a quality piece of house music!

Moné - We Can Make It

(Jazz N' Groove Club Mix)

C'mon Danny!

For me Danny didn't spend enough time in the studio, as I always think the tracks he did make and remix were always pretty top notch, much like his DJing.

This was one of his rare forages into the studio to produce a banger, which was very much in the keeping of the 1994 Progressive House and also the forthcoming Goa era.

We used to enjoy hearing this on the dancefloor.

C'mon!!!

Millionaire Hippies - C'mon

(Vinyl Café Tribute Mix)

See me, feel me, hear me, love me, touch me!

A great track from 1991.

Still sounds great today.

"See me, feel me, hear me, love me, touch me" Indeed!

You can hear where some of the inspiration for Smokebelch came from listening to this.

Friends Of Matthew - Out There

(Raw Mix)
