Don't be full of doubt!

This is brand new from Keinemusik and very tasty in their imitable style.

It is just so lush and luxurious with some superb breathly vocals.

Great to see they are still on their games and leading the dance music revolution they started with their Afro House genre.

I should imagine this will be getting hammered in the more select clubs in Ibiza this summer.

Keinemusik, Sevdaliza - See You Again

Progressive heaven!

Another track which I'm surprised I've not posted before now.

This was massive in 1993 and right at the forefront of the progressive house movement.

Still sounds mazing today.

Superb work by David Holmes who was behind many works of art and also a great DJ in that era.

This was another really exciting era of dance music as clubbing swept the nation.

Scubadevils - Celestial Symphony

(Angel Delight Mix)

This couldn't have happened, without your love!

Although Robin S is only really known for "Show Me Love" she made some other great tracks and this is one of them.

Courtesy of a stellar remix from Mr Morales, this certainly less commercial than "Show Me Love" but showcases her powerful vocals better and is a quality piece of house music.

Some great percussion in there as with all Morales remixes.

Another slightly forgotten classic from yesteryear.

I want to thank you heavenly father!

Robin S - I Want To Thank You

(Bad Yard Club Mix)

My soul's on fire!

Another fantastic piece of house music from 1991, which was just such an amazing year for dance music.

Arguably the greatest year ever? Quite possibly.

The tracks that were produced back then were of such a high quality as the scene was just maturing nicely and the club scene was probably at it's all time peak of popularity.

Such an amazing time to be alive and experience.

This is a superb track as was pretty much everything that David and Satoshi did when they worked together.

Great vocals from Sandee, superb piano and a real class house classic of a track.

You give good love to me!

Sandee - Love Desire

(David Morales & Satoshi Tomiie's' House of Def Mix)

There comes a time in your life!

Cracking piece of house music from 1992 courtesy of another superb Steve Anderson remix.

A real classy house remix production similar in style to the late great Frankie Knuckles in that classic def mix vibe.

Tracks like this are timeless due to the fantastic remix work of really great artists.

This was another one which somewhat flew under the radar, but it an absolutely quality house track.

P.S. I know the YouTube video says Phil Kelsey remix, but this is most certainly the Steve Anderson mix).

Robbie Craig - Magic

(Steve Anderson 12" Mix)

Taking me higher and higher!

I think K-Klass are so good at remixing using their distinctive piano explosive style that they could turn any track into a bona fide club classic.

They totally transform this track into a really fine club banger.

(Although surprisingly it doesn't feature any piano on this one!)

They've been so prolific over the years and consistent with their quality and great to see them still rockin' on the scene today.

Years and years of being at the forefront of the clubbing and dance music scene - Respect!

Rebekah Ryan - You Lift Me Up

(K Klassic Klub Mix)

No matter what you do!

Cracking track courtesy of an equally fine remix by Mr Morales from 1990.

It's deep, atmospheric and features some kicking piano.

Come on, come on, come on!

Don't be stupid!

Preska- Let's Get Real

(Red Zone Mix)

They keep on coming!

This is an old classic from 1989 which never really got the respect and club play that a track of this quality deserves.

However, posting these gems helps to raise that awareness of great tracks from yesteryear that we might have missed, not heard or completely forgotten about.

When I'd been running this blog for the first 5 years or so I thought there may come a time when I ran out of tracks to post, but I now realise that will never happen as there are simply still so many great tracks out there waiting to be unearthed and posted.

I have several thousand in my database labelled of PCC status, hence there is no end in sight.

In the meantime sit back and enjoy some more classic house music.

In-Side - Shout In The Night

(5th Avenue Mix)

Will I taste the freedom of how it used to be?

This is a real classy number.

Delightful powerful and crisp vocals, some great piano and saxophone, wrapped up with some excellent production.

A real quality piece of fine house music, which is customary for Dimitri.

Love the line "I want to dance all night like I'm 10 years old"

Izo FitzRoy - I Want Magic

(Dimitri From Paris Vs. Cotonete 12" Version)

What is that sound?

One of the very earliest house tracks dating back to 1985 before House had really hit it big.

Love the rawness and the crisp production.

Classic house track - very simple - but still very powerful.

Chip E. Feat. K. Joy - Like This

(House Mix)

Special!

Steve Anderson needs no introduction to the PCC blog as he has probably had more tracks posted than any other remixer/producer which is just pure testament to his true genius.

Here he is with another fabulous remix of a pretty ordinary track, until Steve spreads his gold dust on it.

Lots of sumptuous piano as may of his remixes gives it some real life and vibrance.

35 years on, still loving this.

Ceybil - Love So Special

(DMC USA Remix by Steve Anderson)

Oh yeah!

Sometimes it's just nice to play catch and post some classic tracks which have been true PCCs but were probably so overplayed at the time that I just didn't feel the need to post them.

This is a fine example.

This was such a great track when it first came out in 1996, but became so overplayed and commercial that it became a bit tiresome and even tedious.

However, it still sounds great even now and rightly deserves it's status on the PCC blog.

It certainly was a great track back int' day and does still great almost 30 years on.

Style is temporary class is permanent!

B.B.E. - Seven Days And One Week

(Club Mix)

Is that what you really want!

Farley and Heller were experts at creating an infectious groove and vibe like they did with their Junior Boys Own and Roach Motel tracks.

Just very simple repetition but so, so encapsulating and as mentioned infectious.

These tracks made the most sense in clubs as you would just catch the groove and bounce along to them vibing with others on the dancefloor.

Great memories - great track.

Is that what you really want!

Happy Mondays - Stinkin' Thinkin'

(Junior Style Mix)

Stellar remix!

Surprised I've not posted this one before.

This was always a big track in Oakey's sets and one that just blew you away.

Trance perfection.

No need for vocals when the music is so good.

Enjoy!

Hans Zimmer - Interstellar

(Paul Oakenfold Remix)

Feel the riff!

More quality from James Wiltshire (along with Gordon Kaye) under the Joy For Life monicker.

Gordon was a cracking DJ who I saw play in clubs many times and always rocked the joint.

The track is a juicy sample-tastic one typical of that era.

The funky guitar vibe is very noticeable throughout.

Not quite as good as "Warm it up", but still pretty tasty.

Who doesn't love a good riff!

Joy For Life - The Riffmeister

When I'm jumping!

All ready to jump?

This will indeed make you "Jump For Joi"

Classic house music at it's very best.

Infectious piano, killer vocals and the house beat that really kicks.

Over 30 years old now, but still sounds as fresh as it did when I first heard it back in 1994.

When I'm jumping!

Joi Cardwell - Jump For Joi

(Classic Vocal)

This will make you move!

An old corker from 1987 that you don't hear too often.

Plain and simple quality house music.

The piano in this is first class.

No more words are needed.

Still sounding great nearly 40 years on.

John Rocca – Move

(Farley's House Piano Mix)

I saw you Friday, Saturday!

Oh I do love a Freemason's remix.

They were just so always on point, transforming bang average tracks into absolute bangers.

This is another fine example of their remix genius.

I do wish they were still producing and remixing tracks as their presence in the dance music industry is sincerely missed.

Mr James Wiltshire will always be one of my all time favourite remixers - Genius at work!

I saw you Friday, Saturday!

John Newman - Cheating

(Freemasons Remix)

I want to feel the sunshine all the time!

A belter from 2005 which still sounds great 20 years on.

Very summary and real Ibiza vibes.

A touch on the commercial side??

Possibly, but just managing to be sufficiently underground.

It's so much better than a lot of the overhyped garbage which was played at the time.

Great remix by Full Intention as standard and Michael Gray still continues to remix and produce fantastic tracks - Leg-end!

I want to see your face when I wake up!

Supafly vs Fishbowl - Let's Get Down

(Full Intention Club Mix)

Dance, come on dance with me!

Totally love this track which is very spacey, original and has some fantastic vocals.

It feels more like a Jamie Principle track in terms of vocal style rather than Byron Stingily, but it is pure class all the same.

Very atmospheric and chilled, yet groovy and funky at the same time.

A corking track indeed.

Dance, come on dance with me!

Byron Stingily - Stardance

(Long Mix)

It's the year Nineteen Hundred and Ninety!

A house classic from 1990 which still sounds fabulous.

Great vocals, superb production and some corking piano.

I love all the clever little bits in this track and all the little chimes.

A real bonafide house classic.

It's the year Nineteen Hundred and Ninety!

Sha-lor - My Love (Has Gone Away)

(Tommy Musto N.Y. Garage Mix)

This groove you can't ignore!

Really surprised I've not posted this before as it was one of the quintessential disco tracks.

It is also probably one of the most widely known and widely liked (hence maybe why I've not posted yet).

Produced in 1983 - 40 odd years on it has lost none of it's appeal and still sounds fantastic.

Superb vocals, great lyrics and first class production it is a true disco masterpiece and rightly deserves it's position as one of dance music's most iconic tracks.

I have only one thing more to say "Let the music play!"

Shannon - Let The Music Play

I can't stop you!

One of the great things about dance music is it's ability to easily re-use recreate and enhance.

The musical arrangements which were used to create all the classic disco tracks will probably never be repeated due to the cost to assemble the collective of musicians, hence why all these old classics are so frequently sampled.

However, it's great to also pay homage to these old classics and this is one such truly fabulous track.

It's now almost 50 years old, but still sounds amazing.

The vocals are just superb and the production is amazing, not to mention all the great instruments, especially the piano and sax.

You will of course recognise that amazing piano riff which David Morales used so effectively in his hugely popular "Needin' U" track from 1998.

However, I much prefer this amazing original - just a pure timeless classic.

Rare Pleasure - Let Me Down Easy

You've got it bitch!

Love this which has been around a good few months, but one I recently heard on Parky's superb radio show.

It has a bit of everything sort of hip-house in it's style with lots of attitude, vibe and a few well placed expletives.

It's got a real catchy groove and just flows really well.

It'd be great to have more Hip-House style tracks like this, as it was such a cool genre.

You've got it bitch!

79.5 - B.D.F.Q

(FSQ Remix)

I won't go!

Love this which is really lively and a bit of a banger.

Some fierce vocals and some equally fierce piano.

It has a real feel good factor and I bet it has a great effect on the dancefloor.

Ooh Lord burnin' up!

Kaleena Zanders & Tchami - Daddy Keeps Calling

(Extended Mix)

I'm a dreamer now!

Love this remix and delighted to be posting my first Marvin Gaye track on the PCC blog.

I totally love all the Motown tracks and as a young teen it was one of my most emphatic musical loves and quite possibly shaped by musical tastes for my lifelong of dance music.

The beauty about this music was the quality of the vocals, them amazing production and the use of so many fantastic instruments.

This has fantastic vocals, but for me it is the strings that really make this, the violins in this are stunning and really shape the track.

A great remix as well.

Marvin Gaye - It's A Desperate Situation

Bring out the sunshine!

Superb new track from Wolfgang Valbrun and an equally splendid remix by Sophie.

The track is a real hands in the air piano-tastic affair.

I'm sure it will be a big hit in the clubs and especially in Ibiza.

Quite mainstream, but still very tasty.

Bring out the sunshine!

Wolfgang Valbrun - Sun Don't Shine

(Sophie Lloyd Remix)

Large as life!

Fantastic remix of one of the greatest house anthems of all time.

Tom's remix work is always spot on, respecting the original but creating a new track which has it's own vibe and worth.

I'd almost consider the original Rhythim is Rhythim version as being untouchable, but this helps to bring an all time classic to a new audience.

Job done well.

Enjoy!

Derrick May - Strings of Life

(Tom Middleton Remodel)

All you have to say....

I loved Bas-Noir their house tracks were always just pure quality.

Proper house music with great vocals, great lyrics and superb house productions laden with lots of great piano.

Simply classic house music you could dance to all night.

This is just another of many great tracks which they made.

From 1992 but still sound amazing, fantastic remix by the legend that is Tony Humphries.

Class in a glass!

Bas Noir ‎– Shoo-B-Doo

(Club Remix)

Leaving me here on my own!

Bananarama were great and one of the original girl bands.

They were huge in the early 80's and although very commercial with a clever remix they also had a great dance vibe.

There are quite a few of their tracks already posted on the blog.

This one is an epic reworking by DJDiscoCat - I always love his remix work, extending classic tracks, utilising the track "best bits" and relayering them to make them sound even better.

Just spot on!

Bananarama ~ Cruel Summer

(Disco Purrfection Version)

Join in the chant!

I've always had a penchant for tracks with chanting in, in that they quite often bring another edge.

This is a throbbing piece of modern atmospheric trance which really hits some high spots and the chanting is just stops.

The drops in this are massive and I'd bet these go down a storm in clubs.

A really well produced track and a fine piece of top notch modern day trance music.

Argy & Goom Gum - Pantheon

(Extended Mix)

Don't leave me behind!

This brings back some good memories from 1992.

By this stage the rave scene was very clearer splitting into the more dressed up club vibe of the Hac, Back To Basics, Renaissance, Venus etc vs the Hardcore scene and my foot was truly in the Hac, B2B camp.

The whole mask and glow sticks thing was never my bag.

That said there were still lots of great tracks from that rave/hardcore side which although never played at the nation's more glam clubs were still great tracks.

This being one of them.

This one steals heavily from Nitro Deluxe's - Let's Get Brutal - a huge house classic which was posted many years ago on the PCC blog.

Still a great track though - enjoy!

Altern 8 - Brutal 8 E

I don't want to lose your love!

This one has been out quite a few years but it always sounds great.

Very Disco-tastic as you'd expect from PDM.

It has the hugely addictive rhythm and vibe of all PDM's fantastic production work.

Lots of familiar samples and vocal snippets, but all in all just a great catchy and funky dance track.

Enjoy!

Purple Disco Machine - Emotion

There's nowhere left to hide!

An amazing piece of production capturing two outstanding talents who have been consistently leading the way in their respective sub-sectors for the last 30 years.

I've always been a huge The Cure fan, they have always created music which is unique, trailblazing and despite not being aimed at the dancefloor has always had great remix-ability.

Bring in the studio and dance music talents of Oakey and you have a true masterpiece.

The title is quite right this is hugely cinematic and would be a great score for an emotional movie scene.

The piano drop in this track is heavenly!

This track would be a great set opener.

Class is permanent!

The Cure — Can Never Say Goodbye

(Paul Oakenfold ‘Cinematic’ Remix)

Everyone is crazy!

Staying on the French theme and something much more current and underground, this is tasty.

Throbbing, vibing, pulsating from the opening bars this is fierce and really hits deep.

The whole track has a great atmposhere about it and rolls really well.

The vocals are also really great and nicely complement a great track.

Enjoy!

Solomun featuring Jain - Tout Le Monde Est Fou

(Club Version)

You won't be disappointed!

The PCC Blog has always been very eclectic in it's musical tastes and genres, in the true Ibizian spirit of Balearic that being just playing/posting tracks which are just sensational pieces of music with a dancefloor appeal.

They can be fast, slow, uptempo, downtempo, but they have to be good and something which moves me and creates emotion and true aural pleasure.

Now and again this involves tracks which might be slightly commercial, slightly cheesy or just very different.

This is one such track which is certainly different (and a tad cheesy) but equally very good and very endearing.

Some lovely French vocals, a Italo disco euro beat some lovely subtle piano and just a great summer feel.

It really is a very nice and very engrossing piece of music.

Enjoy!

I've also added a Thunderpuss remix which although slightly more underground, doesn't quite match the great Moreno J remix.

Mylène Farmer - Désenchantée

(Moreno J Remix)

Mylène Farmer - Désenchantée

(Thunderpuss Club Anthem)

I'll keep you in safety, forever protect you!

Great new remix of an old classic track.

Brings extra life with an injection of piano and a really catchy vibe.

Better than the original version for me, which I always found a little slow.

This ups the tempo and adds that little extra bit of dancefloor appeal.

I'll keep you in safety, forever protect you!

Kosheen - Hide U

(Laura Pradelska Edit)

You know I'll be good to you!

Love this, brand new and very exciting.

Vocal samples from the old Princess track and with lots of booming piano.

A real hands in the air piano screamer.

Very old skool in feel and I'm sure will be a big mover and shaker on the dancefloors of the nations finer clubs.

You know I'll be good to you!

 Juliet Thurbz - Number One

(Extended Mix)
