Feel that funky guitar!

Quite surprised I haven't posted this one before now.

This was a killer tune at Back To Basics in Leeds back in 1994.

It was one of those tracks which was played by all the top jocks of that era and always went down a storm.

It feels a touch dated now, but still remains as a Progressive House classic.

Floorjam - Stoneage

Nobody told us!

Another exquisite remix by Sgt Slick, this really is a touch of class.
I'm sure you're all familiar with the track, but this has been superbly remixed and gives it such a wonderful classical feel.

The production is just superb.

Elton never sounded so good.

Nobody knows it!

Tonight it's party time!

Alright, I know another questionable post for the PCC Blog, but hey this was a serious club tune before it went mainstream.

When it was first played in clubs back in 1994 it always went down really well and had a great reaction on the dancefloor.

Yes, it does sound very dated and overly commercial, but it is still very much a PCC.

This is the best (most underground) mix.

Enjoy - because "tonight it's party time!"

Do you wanna go high?

Every time I hear this track it takes me right back to the Hacienda in 1994 (30 years ago - Wow!).

A corking house track, mixed by the legend GP and often played in his sets back in the day.

It is a true house classic and has everything you could wish for in a great house track.

Superb vocals, a great rhythm, killer beats and some classy piano.

Do you wanna go high!

Nice to meet you!

When I first heard this track, I thought way too cheesy, but then it just grew on me massively.

It has such an endearing and calming appeal to it and is one that certainly brings a smile to your face.

Just a cracking little track from 1994 to cheer you up if you are ever feeling in the doldrums.

Bigs thanks to Ed for this one, my long time musical brother over in the US.

Nice to meet you, oh how do you do!

Enjoy people!

A taste of the East!

This is new and very tasty, heard recently on Graeme Park's fantastic radio show.

I must say hats off to GP as he is every bit the house legend.

There from the very early days of house back in 1986 with his residency at the Garage in Nottingham, then of course his epic stint at the Hac.

Almost 40 years on he still has his finger very much on the house music pulse and will always be one of my all time fave DJs - a proper legend!

About the track, well it's pretty unique and very appealing with a great pulsating rhythm and Indian chants, it's got a pace and energy that just hooks you in.

Nice!

Rami Imam - Bombay Sundown

I blame you for moonlight skies..

A very questionable post this one as it is high on the cheeseometer.

However, it has just come down on the right side thanks to a great Rob Searle remix and coupled with the fact that the original song was a really good pop song.

Anyway a little bit of cheese is a key part of a healthy musical diet.

I blame you for moonlight skies

Enjoy!
