It's a long, long road!

It's been a while since I posted a Steve Anderson remix, probably as most of them have previously been posted.

This is another corker, probably not OMD's strongest track, but Steve works his magic.

It a catchy track with delightful piano courtesy of Mr Anderson.

Get on it!

OMD - Pandora's Box (It's A Long, Long Way)

(Steve Anderson 12'')

There's something inside you!

Totally love this very good remix.

There are so many versions of this track and I'd previously posted the epic London Grammar/Freemasons version.

This one is just lovely, it keeps all the brilliant vibe and vocals of the original, but adds some lush piano drops.

Very nice indeed!

There's something inside you, it's hard to explain!

Kavinsky - Nightcall

(Eewas Cesium Remix)

Vibe on!

Love this, with it's continuous piano loops it really creates a great dance floor vibe.

A few samples and vocals would really complement it and add something extra to it, but I can imagine it would be great on the dancefloor in clubs and work really well to mix in and out of.

Grant Nelson behind this one.

Enjoy!

Nu Rhythmix - Babylon

(The Vibe Mix)

I love, I hate, I feel!

The Grid were responsible for some epic dance tracks largely due to the genius of the late Dave Ball R.I.P.

This is another great track which was big in 1994 and is a good example of their vibe at that time.

I always feel that this track doesn't quite explode like some of their others.

It just feels like it is missing that major peak.

Nonetheless it's still a pretty fine track and just worthy of PCC status as it always went down well in clubs.

I would like to find the answers!

I could have sworn I'd posted this before.

Much more indie dance than club dance, but what an amazing track.

There was a time when I first came across this that I was playing this several times a day, because I was just so blown away my how amazing it was (and still is).

One of the best and most unheralded tracks in the last 10 years, no question.

It has a touch of Joy Division about it.

Stunning!

You buried me

Right where I belonged

You buried me

Right where I belonged

And still, I'm waiting there

On division st

I would like to find the answers I was always rudely denied

A song so sweet

From back when I was born

The loving creak

Of floorboards by the door

Hopeful I waited, hopeful I called

But no one would answer at all

On division st

I would like to find the answers I was always rudely denied

Nation Of Language - On Division St

Going to take you higher!

Gorgeous track and a superb remix by Mr Morales.

The remix is much more like a Frankie Knuckles remix, super silky and super smooth and hence his influence via Def Mix was certainly being closely studied by Morales.

Great vocals and such a superb classic house feel.

This track should have been way bigger that it was, 35 years on it still sounds absolutely epic.

Classic house music indeed!

Going to take you higher!

Slam Slam Featuring Dee C. Lee - Move (Dance All Night)

(Slammin' 12")

True pioneers!

Corking track from 1988 (yes 1988!!!) from the revered dance music pioneers that were Severed Heads.

As soon as you hear that piano riff it will be instantly familiar as effectively used in the Liberation 2 track and many others.

Class is permanent.

Feel the power!

Severed Heads - Greater Reward

(Piano Power Edit)

Yes you and you!

Slammin' piece of hard trance of a very well known pop track.

This has a real vibe and edge to it.

Pounding and driving, but with some beautiful subtle piano drops.

It all comes together very nicely and has a superb aura about it.

A very effective re-working, done well.

Get on it!

Beautiful Imbalance - First Picture Of You

(Lost In Music Mix)

Here, here, here we go!

Surprised this hasn't been posted before now.

A nice little old skool track with plenty of catchy little sample and some nice piano.

I always feel that this one had a bit more to offer and didn't quite explode enough.

Still a catchy little track though.

Q Words - That's The Choice

(Club Version)

Don't be offended!

Apologies for the lack of posts recently but things have been a bit hectic with work, holidays etc.

Here we are back with a beauty.

The PSB are no strangers to the PCC Blog and have always had a great dance music appeal.

This is a corking remix by Jam & Spoon which adds a super feel to Neil's great vocals.

A really pleasant and quite unusual mix.

Enjoy!

Pet Shop Boys - Young Offender

(Jam & Spoon Trip-O-Matic Fairy Tale Mix)
