As usual Mariah's vocals are exquisite and just a pure joy to listen to.

If I'm totally honest it's not quite up with her very best, but still pretty tasty all the same.

Her vocals are as per usual exquisite and back up with a very good remix from Tony Moran and Warren Rigg.

Possibly not quite as catchy and instant as many of her classics, but still very nice.

Alright folks, apologies for the lack of action recently, as usual much going on.
However, here we are back with a bang.
Anyone who follows this blog, knows of my huge admiration for the vocal talents of Ms Carey.
This probably isn't her finest outing, but it certainly is a cracking track.
Tony Moran as usual producing some great stuff.

"I promise you" this track is amazing!!!

Absolutely loving this track and a big shout out to Phil who sent it to me.
Big on the US clubbing scene back in the days, so I'm informed.
It was a track which was new to me, but one I'm absolutely hooked on.
It was originally released in 1987, but this remix takes it to another level.
It's got absolutely everything; superb vocals, great lyrics, some great subtle snippets of piano and just a delicious groove.
Massive in every sense.
Just checks these lyrics, fantastic for a sing along;
"I'm sorry but I'm just thinking of the right words to say
I know they don't sound the way I planned them to be
But if you wait around a while I'll make you fall for me
I promise you, I promise you I will"
