Jazzin' it up!
I have my wonderful American friend Ed to thank for enlightening me to the world of Jazz and this is a really great modern rendition with a club vibe.
Beautiful piano chords which are so crisp and the obligatory saxophone,
The opening piano chords are very similar to Al Stewart's - Year of the Cat.
Hope you enjoy!
Bellaire - Some Jazz To Make Love On
A true masterpiece!
There are lots of remixes of this by some acclaimed remixers like Sunday Club, Phil Kelsey, Playboys, but nothing tops this original BiR production.
It is such an amazing and powerful track.
Charvoni's vocals are just fantastic and the rest is the stunning BiR production with Dave providing the club feel and Steve the production genius.
31 years on and this still sounds wonderful and much better than any of the tracks produced today.
It's amazing that 30 years of technology progress and the producers and creators of music today can't touch the genius of BiR.
Brothers In Rhythm Present Charvoni - Forever And A Day
(Original Club Mix)
Don't you wanna go?
I've posted the E-Smoove remix of this on the blog many years ago, but thought it was worth posting this version also as it is a great track.
Kim English R.I.P. had a fantastic vocal and this track fully showcases this.
Chuck in some great piano and you have a house classic which still sounds great.
Enjoy!
Kim English - I Know A Place
(MDZ X-Tended Klub Mix)
I just need someone I can touch!
Always a match made in heaven Jamie's exquisite vocals and the sublime remixing skills of E-Smoove.
This creates a true house classic from 1992, a track which just makes you feel good.
Quality house music, you just can't beat it!
Jamie Principle - Hot Body
(E-Smoove's Groovy Mix)
Kiss me all over!
A great old skool track from 1991.
Possibly sounds a bit dated now, but still retains a nice little nostalgic feel.
Lots of piano as you'd expect from an Italo House track from that era.
Kiss me - that's it!
Emily Heyl - Kiss My Piano
(Extended Vocal Remix)
If you see him, tell him....
A superb remix of a classic track.
This was a real Hacienda banger back in 1992.
Great vocals by Eleanore with those classic lyrics, but it's Parky's remix which wins the day splattered with lots of piano and funky sax.
Classy!
Eleanore Mills - Mr. Right
(The Superb Parkside Mix)
Is it really that bad?
I like a lot of Yotto's work and this is just quality.
Good to hear modern day tracks stirring some of the emotions of music from the halcyon era.
A pretty solid track with some excellent vocals from Elderbrook and some great remix work by Yotto.
Elderbrook - Tied To You
(Yotto Remix)
A bit of a monster!
Totally forgot about this one.
An absolute corker from 1995.
Yet another piece of pure class from D.O.P. who were one of the great progressive house trailblazers.
This track was massive in clubs an absolute banger which still sounds great today.
Get on it!
D.O.P. featuring Lorna Marshall - Manifest Your Love
(Tooley St. Dub)
See me, feel me, hear me, love me, touch me!
I've already posted the original version of this, the one we knew from the early days.
This is a superb trance version from 1999 by Lange one of the great trance music producers and remixers.
This really is a great remix, as are all Lange productions.
I drift along and dream of a time long ago, and I see a world that people will never know
See me, feel me, hear me, love me, touch me!
Yes indeed!
Friends Of Matthew - Out There
(Lange Remix)

I bet you think this song is about you?
Fantastic vocals by the uber talented Carly, really great lyrics famously about Warren Beatty (and others), beautiful piano and guitar, then to top it all off Mick Jagger on backing vocals.
Ok, probably not the most clubby track, but for sure a Balearic classic.
Released in 1972 it's amazing to think this is now 53 years old.
Great remix by DJ Disco Cat as always.
Carly Simon ~ You're So Vain
(Extended Meow Mix)
