Welcome to our little gathering!

Stone cold Acid House classic from way back when it all started in 1988.

Still sounds amazing with that awesome jacking groove and that annoyingly good piano, combined with the effective left/right speaker switchbacks.

A house masterpiece that has totally stood the test of time.

House music doesn't have to be complex to be immensely impactful.

Enjoy!

As funky as it can get!

An absolute from way back in 1987.

This still sounds amazing and is just such a great track.

It has everything for me, that really lovely raw edge of early house music, lots of great samples, some great piano and just so much going on in the track that it keeps you totally engrossed.

To think this track is nearly 40 years old.

A pure club classic indeed!

Just "Bryllyant!"

The title says it all a new beat classic out of Belgium which was a big track at Shoom and very much part of the Acid House hey day.

It still sounds great today, so imagine how unique it must have sounded almost 40 years ago.

Quality never dies.

Simply "Bryllyant!"

Acieed house in the house!

A massive Hacienda classic from 1989.

This still sounds awesome 35 years on.

It's just so raw, funky, energetic and just damn exciting.

Those electro stabs are immense.

A proper acid house classic.

Total hypnosis!

Fantastic piece of Italo Disco from back in 1987 and a big acid house track.

Very Giorgio Moroder/Vangelis-esque!

I'm sure it was also a theme tune for a TV programme, but may be wrong and quite remember which one??

The B side is also a great track and contains some excellent piano and hence well worth a listen and also uploaded.

Worth noting sometimes you see this track as Hipnosis as well as Hypnosis.

Do you feel alright?

Totally love this track from 1988 which still sounds ace today.

Lots of squelchy Roland TB303 and lots of great vocal snippets as well as some quality piano.

A real mish-mash of a track, but much loved and very much a forgotten classic.

We were just Perfectly Ordinary People (having amazing and unforgettable nights).

Rock on!

"We're gonna start this happy vibes!"

A fantastic old New Beat track from the Acid House era of 1989.

Just love everything about this track from the unique tribal rhythms to the African chants.

It's one of those that grabs your attention from the off and keeps you fully engaged throughout.

"We're gonna start this happy vibes"

Quality!

Acieed in the house!

An acid house classic from 1988.

It combines those lovely squelchy acid Roland TB303 sounds with some great gospel style vocals and then peaks when some great piano kicks in.

I believe Adonis also had a hand in this.

A timeless classic.

Love the New Beat!

Love this old New Beat track from 1989.

The sound is just so raw, but so authentic.

You feel as though it is getting a touch repetitive, but then the piano break kicks in and totally makes it the corker that it is.

Oh yeah, it's time!

Another track which I can't believe I haven't posted before.

Too many tracks and too little time.

Blows the mind to think that this was created in 1983 and still sounds so fresh and alive.

A big track Acid House track. Electro house at it 's very best.

Both mixes are flawless.

Enjoy!

Feel the Acid!

Totally love this track from 1988.

Proper acid squelch from the Roland TB303 on this track.

Still sounds amazing 32 years on and far better than any of the EDM out today!

Come on let's work!

This brought to life the original but a little dull LNR version of "Work it to the bone".

This was a huge track back int'day in 1989.

A little commercial and possibly a bit too cheesy for the purists, but nonetheless a very catchy little track, with some quality piano thrown in for good measure.

Come on let's work!

This is Brutal!

This one goes way back, back all the way to 1986.

An absolute classic which still sounds amazing today.

Pure quality.

Let's get "brutal with the millimeters"???

Let's get Oochy Koochy!

Love this track, proper Acid House Warehouse track.

Lots of acid thrown in and some excellent piano.

Such energy about this track.

It was a big one back in early days of Acid House!

You want this party started, right?

Can't believe I've not posted this before, a true house classic.
I was never keen on the Sesame Street samples (I think it's Sesame Street but not sure as I always hated that annoying programme).
The track however is just timeless and brings back memories way back when it all began back in '88.
Always loved the piano in this.

Balearic bliss from Gerald!!

Here's a a track that will take you back, way back!!
An absolute classic piece of Balearic bliss from A Guy Called Gerald.
This track is completely timeless and still sounds as good today as it did back in 1989.
It has a beautiful vibe that is so endearing and always puts me in a "bubble of bliss".
On this blog when we talk about dance music nowadays and how it doesn't compare to the music which was made back in the late 80's and 90's - this is exactly what we are referring too.
The vibe and emotions that tracks like this provide as just streets ahead.
I hope this touches you the way if does me.
Feel the vibe and keep the spirit alive!!

Let's go back, way back....

Ok, moving away from the Trance vibe back to an early balearic classic.
This one dates back to 1988 and was a massive track at early Acid House clubs like Shoom.
It is a lovely piece of balearic vibe, with lots of funky rhythms and some delightful chunks of piano.
You can't help but like it.
Uplifting to one and all.
Enjoy!!!

One of the all time PCCs

When I first started this blog, I purposely decided not to start by posting all the tracks which were really well known and everybody either knew about or already had.
Hence, I avoided posting tracks like Voodoo Ray, Promised Land, Let Move Love You For Tonight, House Music Anthem etc.
Most of these tracks were pretty much available on Compilation CDs etc.
However, the time has come to sprinkle a few in.
They are such wonderful tunes and the memories and emotions that they gave so many clubbers will always maintain their status as PCCs.
This is one of my favourites. Hearing this in a club was such a fabulous and emotional experience, you would just float away on a cloud of bliss.
I've mentioned many times of the blog that I'm not a great fan of male vocals, however Keith Thompson's vocal on this are exceptional.
The whole feel and atmosphere of the track, with the wonderfully subtle and understated piano is just spot on!!
You can't beat the enthusiastic panting in the background as well. Ooh err Missus!!
(It's not quite French Kiss, but not a long way off. Lol!!)
I'm sure you all have some great clubbing memories of this one.
There's been loads of remixes and re-working done of this, but none can touch the original.
Tracks such as this which are so inspirational and influential should not be tampered with!!
Enjoy!!

Acieed in the house!!!!

You can't beat tracks like these from the good ol' days.
Nothing too complex about this one, just a great combination of some lovely squelchy Acid and a terrific piano groove.
These tracks were just so exciting when they first came out as people started to explore the new technology and sounds that the Roland TB 303 brought
Certainly a defining era in dance music.
This one dates back to 1988. Acid House in the area.!!
Enjoy.

"Nothing is impossible!!!"

Here's a throw back to 1988.
I always loved the "nothing is impossible" samples.
I've posted 2 mixes one is very much more overground and then there's the Acid version which contains some great squelchy TB303.
Thr acid version is raw and funky, but I prefer the more overground version which contains those great vocals;
"Hopes and illusions fade away, make for the beat it's time to play"
"The opposition hits the groove , come on ride the rhythm"
Lovely!!
