Love is you, you're it's smile!

A smiply beautiful disco track from 1976 almost 50 years old, wow!

You can hear where Spiller's - Groovejet pilfered all it's material and hooks.

Amazing production, amazing vocals and just exquisite musical instruments, they certainly don't make them like this anymore. I think there's even a glockenspiel in this one!

Great remix work by Tom Moulton just refreshing it and giving it a bit more edge.

A true disco classic!

Keep pushing me!

Madonna is unquestionably the Queen of Pop - nobody can contest that.

Her longevity, her chameleon like nature to transform into something totally different and still stay current will never be surpassed.

Many of her early tracks although great pop tracks, were never very dancefloor compatible.

Since then many have been remixed and this is one of the best.

A fantastic piece of work by Tom Moulton which like most good remixes keeps the very essence of the original but just adds those little bits which make it more dance-tastic.

Enjoy!

Musical perfection!

One of the all time great dance tracks - a true masterpiece and as all classics still sound amazing to this day and will do forever.

I've posted the Larry Levan remix on the PCC blog previously which I believe was the version played at the Paradise Garage.

However, I have to confess to liking this version better.

Why, well because it contains those fabulous vocals from the Three Degrees.

Love is, love is the message that I sing to you

Love is the message that I bring to you

Love is the message for us all!

The musical production, all the different instruments from the Orchestra and notably the saxophone, are all truly momentous.

An epic masterpiece.

Enjoy!

Doing just fine - thanks!

Yet another masterpiece by Tom Moulton.

His remix work is always so perfect, bringing the best out of the artist and lengthening the track in all the rights places to just simply prolong the enjoyment.

I really miss the use of "proper instruments" on current tracks and this one has some great musical production.

A stone cold classic and much better than the Pasadena's cover.

How does it feel baby?

This has been getting lots of play in the past few weeks on the PCC playlist.

It is just a sensational timeless classic and one that gets better with every listen.

An amazing remix by Tom Moulton accompanied by superb vocals from Bettye Swann.

Dance music perfection? Not far off.

Just glorious!

You, You and Me Baby!

Superb laid back groove from 1977.

Totally timeless and still sounds amazing.

The production on these tracks were superb and hence why they stand the test of time so well.

Great remix by Tom Moulton.

Very Balearic in it's essence this one.

Enjoy!

I hope you've enjoyed the posts tonight.
Here's one to finish with and it's a special one.
I've had it "up my sleeve" for some time, as it was recommended to me some while ago.
It's an epic, that builds and builds a la BiR, T-empo, Paul Gotel stylee.
Lots of lush piano, amazing breakdowns, fantastic vocals, tempo changes.
You name it it's got it!!
This ones for all the wider PCC team and contributors.
Respect people!!
Also another huge rarity - for once the Frankie Knuckles remix is surpassed - in this instance the Tom Moulton remix is the one. It makes the FK remix seem a bit pedestrian!!
