Got to rearrange our lives!

It's been a while since I posted a T-empo remix, but this is well worth the wait.

Their remix work was always of the highest quality, creating epic tracks with great piano breakdowns, very similar in style to B.I.R.

This is bit of a monster so strap yourself in (Pete Tong-ism).

Great vocals by Ruby as always.

Enjoy it's a beauty!

Baby I love everything that you do.....for me!

Another cracking track from Incognito with two very fine remixes.

Baby I love everything that you do.....for me!

This T-empo remix is excellent and a lot more housey than their customary epic remixes, it is nonetheless top notch and right up there with the high standard they set.

IMHO it outshines the S-Man remix which is also very good (as per usual).

Incognito were one of those music acts which were a bit dull for my tastes, but came alive when remixed effectively as Roger S has done on several of their tracks.

Which mix does it for you?

Come into the Blue Room!

Fantastic track as per usual from T-empo.

They were always on the button with their productions and remixes.

This is slightly more trancey and progressive than their usual style and more akin to Way Out West.

A great track though, that takes you on a very nice chilled trance journey.

Love it when the piano kicks in - another level.

Enjoy!

This'll put a smile on your face!

 Another epic remix by T-empo.

They really did some great "knob twiddling" back in the days and created many, many epic remixes, several of which appear on the blog and several more still to post.

Beautiful piano runs throughout this one and it builds, bends and curves.

It'll certainly put a smile on your face!

I feel the night explode, when we're together!

Very surprised to find that I've not posted this before.

Another corking remix from T-empo (as they always are).

"I feel the night explode, when we're together!"

This track is pure class from start to finish.

Huge on the dancefloor, a true PCC!

Just how we know and like 'em!

Enjoy!

If you only knew.....how good this is!!

Please keep the faith with this one, I haven't gone mad!!
I never thought I'd be posting a Tom Jones track on the PCC blog, but this is actually a fantastic track and a superb remix by T-Empo produced back in 1994.
I've had this one lined up to post for ages and it's just finding the right time.
Well that time is now, so get ready for a huge piano laden track which takes you on a great journey.
It really uses Tom's vocals superbly to raise the tempo of the track underpinned with some great piano, it then continues to build, slows back down and  keeps coming back at you.
I love the bit on 5mins 5 secs, when it sounds like "Jimi Polo's - Better Days" is going to kick in.
I bet it'd be great to use that track to mix in at that point.
All in all a top notch track.
Don't be put off - listen without prejudice and draw your own opinion.
To me it's a top notch track.
Enjoy!!!

Are you keeping warm???

If not then this'll warm the cockles.
Inspired by the recent Jinny post, here's some more of the same.
You'll all be very familiar with the original mix, which was banged out in many a club circa 1991.
It is a typical Italian House piano classic.
And yes, I know it's a bit cheesy sounding now, but it was massive back in't day and you must admit that when the piano kicks in, it's impossible to stop the foot tapping!!
Probably less well known, but equally fantastic is the T-Empo remix, which IMHO is a pure work of art.
It keeps the feel of the original, but tempts and teases and then delivers (big time).
Stompin'!!

Ladies and Gentlemen Miss Grace Jones!!!

Now here's a classic track.
There's many remixes of this, but I've picked out two of my faves.
The first is a great remix by Love To Infinity  - very typical of their production style, very bouncy and instant.
It really complements Grace's vocal which is incredibly powerful.
The other version is a remix by T-empo - which compared to many of their remixes, is slightly slow and in all fairness pretty disappointing measured against their standards of excellence, but still pretty good even so.

R U Sleeping?? I hope not with tunes this good!!!

Another fantastic club classic, which was massive back in 1994.
The big mix that was the main one played in the clubs was the Stonebridge Mix, which was quitely simply a classic piece of house music. Widely played at the Hac, Basics and to be honest virtually any decent club that you went into at that time.
However, the memories for me are it being played at the Hacienda by the legend that is Mr Graeme Park. I have such fantastic memories of that place and it was always the best place to go if you wanted to hear the finest house music out there.
I've also posted the T-empo mix, that IMHO doesn't quite match up to the Stonebridge Mix, which is surprising as most of their mixes were superb.
Also check out the D.O.N.S. remix which is a very recent (2007) version and is really very good indeed, keeping the quality feel of the original, but punching it up a bit. Love the alarm clock at the beginning and the real bite that the track has, very current, but still very good.
Enjoy people - no sleeping to this one!!!

Fancy a bit more Duran Duran!!!

Another appearance on the blog for Duran Duran and only courtesy of another great remix.
This time it's T-empo mixing it up and producing a really great track.
This one has lots of atmosphere and a nice bouncy rhythm witha really great feel to it.
Unusual for a T-empo remix it doesn't have their trademark dramatic piano breakdowns.
However, it is still a very good remix and a truly fine track.
"Because I’m falling down, With people standing round"
"But before I hit the ground, Is there time"
"Could I find someone out there to help me?"
A top class track folks. Enjoy!!!
I'm sure you'd rather a picture of the fabulous Mrs Le Bon then Duran Duran - I know I would!!

Staying on the Theme of Gay Anthems!!!!

I've mentioned on this blog, before that although a strictly hetero guy, I had some of my best clubbing nights and memories at gay clubs like Vague and Paradise Factory.
The atmosphere there was just electric and one of free abandon, with one sole purpose to dance as much as possible and to have the best time possible. There was less postruing and posing than in straight clubs, people just went there to have a fantastic time and get messy!!
This track has to be one of the true gay anthems and it comes with a monstrous and I repeat monstrous remix from T-empo. This remix is simply huge, with some banging piano and some fantastic "hands in the air" moments.
Trouble was I could never quite bring myself to sing the chorus, well certainly not in the middle of Vague. Lol
Enjoy - it's a monster!!!

You wanted T-empo - you got T-empo!!!

There's been a request for some more T-empo on the blog and also some more Paul Gotel remixes. This is a great request and one I'm more than happy to oblige, as they both produced some "barnstorming" tracks.
This one is a great track (remixed in 1995) and slightly more laid back and down tempo that a usual T-empo remix, but still very good. It has a very BiR style to the remix (significant praise indeed!!).
Tim Lennox was one half of T-empo, and produced some fantastic tracks and was also a great DJ to boot!!!
Plenty more of T-empo to come in the future. This one goes out to Antti - a great contributor to the blog and a big fan of T-empo remixes. Hope you enjoy this one buddy!!

There's only one Diana!!

Now I know that there's probably lot of huge Princess Diana fans out there, but I certainly ain't one of them, unless you mean the real Diana - a la - Mrs. Ross.
This is the real Diana - her of the Supreme vocals (no pun intended).
Here she is providing those fantastic vocals to a nicely remixed club track by T-Empo.
By the way T-Empo did some wonderful remixes, so watch out for some more of their stuff coming up on the blog.
Meanwhile enjoy the fantastic vocal talents of the real - Diana.

An absolute anthem of epic proportions!!

For all those of you out there who like myself are great admirers of Brothers in Rhythm remixes, Chris and James remixes, (you know the sort of tracks I mean), then you'll simply love this.
It is very reminiscent of the stuff that BiR do, that is; take an old track and turn it into an epic, through producing a slow intro, a gradual build up, really working the great vocals and then exploding the track into a huge crescendo.
In my eyes; a truly great track. I had it on 12" many years ago and hammered it, then lent it to a friend who moved on and I never got it back.
Hence a big shout out to Raul for sending me this. Respect.
To all you supporters of great dance music, download this, you'll love it. Awesome.
